Does this model kit include a tendency to fall in love with enemy mobile suit pilots multiple times and be upset every time it inevitably blows up in his face?
Thanks for the review, I think I'll be picking this up soon!
Forget it.
It will go berserk if you calls it as a girl's name.
The feet do not have hollow parts which is rare for high grades these days.
I'm disappointed this did not come with a disembodied Zaku II head ;v
Kai Summers it mentions the zeta zaku in the instructions actually
@@dol_mel7487 Yeah it actually tells you which kit to get it from and how to attach it :)
Zeta gundam got stands?
I like the new format, very clean. I wouldn't be opposed to all of your reviews being like this
The Gunpla Evolution Project is indeed the Revive line, however it also now applies to the other grades of model kits that will be released. So MGs, RGs, and presumably PGs will now be upped to higher quality standards
12:02 "And he's ready to wreck some shit!"
For me, this model is a baseline High Grade, not something that is part of a project called Gunpla Evolution Project. At least they could have given it more surface detail on par with Origin Zakus. And I don't like how the red sections on the wings are stickers.
The polycap inner frame is a great innovation though
3 minutes in, and already the reason transformations should take a backseat in kits.
Cats Purr well not all transformations hinder articulation sometimes they increase it for example the gabthley
I've always held the belief that if the transformation's too complicated for the toy to replicate without having to rip it completely apart the Gundam shouldn't transform period.
As you can guess I have a love/hate relationship with the Zeta.
Bought this kit from Collectors Marketplace 2 days ago in Phoenix, AZ and it has that new Bandai Namco logo on the box but am gonna build it on Christmas day.
It's lean, it's mean, it's piloted by Kamille Bideen.
Well Actually, The Gunpla Evolution Project is supposed to affect all Gundam scales and grades, not just hg's. I'm Particularly excited for what will come of the 1/100 G.E.P
The thing is, with MGs they already have the whole 2.0 and 3.0 thing going on. So at best it's still a marketing tactic for something that already existed, but now with a different, less straight forward, name (2.0/revive rolls of the tongue easier than Gunpla Evolution Project)
The thing about the Evolution Project is that it's a series of kits that Bandai will release up till the 40 year anniversary, the kits they plan to produce will show the "evolution" of the Gundam series and the technology of their kits.
tq for the review.
now i want to buy this guy and add to my collection
The question is... do YOU believe in a sign of Zeta?
Beyond the hard times from now~
A Zeta in Titans colors? I want to see it!
this guy was a blast to put together!
The arm broke off of mine. :'(
I didn't notice the inside piece twisting apart until it was too late.
I love your reviews man!
how come no hyaku shiki revive and mk 2 gundam revive comparsion
He's not interested in the Hyaku Shiki Revive, and he was not really impressed with the fact that the Gundam Mk-II (Titans) Revive is not interchangeable with the Advance of Zeta kits, so he skipped on the AEUG version.
areasevenpro he has the aeug one. he just didn't build it yet
The combined comments are indeed true.
I haven't yet built the AEUG one because I felt like the looks were pretty "meh" compared to the original HGUC and I already have the awesome looking Gryphios War set version on my shelf.
The Hyaku Shiki revive I didn't bother getting because
1) It uses cheap gold
2) I have the Gryphios War set version, which uses awesome gold
3) I have the MG 2.0, which uses awesome gold AND is an overall amazing model kit
So the Hyaku Shiki revive is really, really low on my "to get" list. If I need another Hyaku Shiki in my life, it'll be the one with the Mega Bazooka Launcher.
And no Lightening Zeta
on another note though...man this kit looks awesome...dont really care about the stickers on the binders...spray paint and gundam markers rule...i did notice though that the tops of the binders dont have those white parts or even stickers...i dont think ive heard anyone mention that in reviews.....
maybe this is why Gundaminfo uploaded the Zeta Gundam series again. For promotion the Evolution Project probably. by the way, the kit is so cool! 👍
id rather have a stable model with parts forming (this) than a wobbly mess (the RG)
I've seen so many reviews for this lately, I tend to forget who all I've already watched... and I hate to say for all the interesting upgrades this model has, it's still too polarizing for me to commit to. Kinda expected that though, Bandai has a tendency to change things around too quickly without ironing out some of the problems that comes with these changes or overlooking issues in other places, so the first handful of kits that are subject to a new construction style fall short of full marks.
Thanks for the review and the part of the nobody talk the beam sabers on the rifle and the launcher
thanks for the pose holding the hyper megalauncher in the left hand, I copied it out hahaha
When did you upgrade your cameras? The macro shots on the head looks very sharp!
Started using the Sony Handycam CX450 since this video: ua-cam.com/video/d1gwccBNeto/v-deo.html
Which is why in the following videos I was trying out various light setups because the recordings came out much darker than my old cam.
Kakarot197 Now I remember. Looks like you got it right in this video, because the quality is amazing.
Revive ZZ with rotating elbows when?
for some reason, my copy seems to have very tight upper articulations but anything waist down is kinda flappy at certain places.
man those wings should have more SWIVELS
Jobby!
This is why he killed the joke, well last yr
Could you link that midi version of Z Toki wo Koete?
Which Zaku kit did you use for the head?
The old 08th MS Team HG. I love the way that kit looks, despite the horrible articulation and quality lol
ua-cam.com/video/RTKxJBv28Po/v-deo.html
This is way better than the RG Zeta... the RG Zeta was terrible AF...
I have the shiki and now I want this and the my ii to have the complete zeta Gundam team
better not leave out rick dias and methuss !!! >:3
does it run on the power of the dead souls?
Ok this looks amazing
I need one :)
neat kit but I would give up the ab crunch in exchange to get a transformation to be honest
So get the RG version?
Ned Innis RG zeta is still incredibly flawed and I probably won't get it unless bandai tries a 2.0
Ned Innis by all means yes, it's actually not the fragile mess that people think it is
I wouldn't mind bandai recycling the kit to make zeta plus variants, or an hg zeta plus hummingbird.
probably they make it to a p bandai
Didn't they already made Zeta plus quite recently? They made it for Unicorn, sure, but still it is the Zeta plus... So i don't really see anything other than the Wave Shooter equipment (which, for added bonus, is quite the missing link between Zeta Gundam and Zeta plus :) )
James Anacleto Man, i would love more AoZ units, so much to be explored.. get the rights and start launching more kits/conversion parts.. Hizack Cannon, Proto Asshimar, Gelgoog/Dom Stutzer, Rosette, Munin, Full Armor TR-1, among others..
3:33 I broke it few hours after finished building it while posing lmao
Word of Advice: Don't tell Camille his name sounds girly...
i like that the front skirts are always molded together , they are easy enought to seperate and one piece requires less gates than 2 pieces ^^. also : how s the mg zeta plus?
So is this the best/your favorite version of the zeta, including offshoots like the lightning zeta or the zeta plus? I don't own one.
In 1/144, it's most certainly objectively the best. However, I lean more towards the Zeta Plus (Katoki design + more realistic color)
Hello im just askin , do you have a pic of zeta eyes using the metallic stickers ???
Hmm, if I had this on a stand, think the mobile armor could support a regular sized mobile suit standing on it like a base jabber?
The Zeta Gundam will only allow Puru's Qubeley on its back.
Not the Hyaku Shiki ? ;)
I never really saw the appeal of the whole Beam Saber/Rifle thing.
The whole thing looks like it would be rather awkward to wield.
it cuts the time it takes to pull out the saber
What kind of red do you use to paint the back?
Alright, its on my shopping cart
I just came back from Shinonome painting reviews. Now, back to basics. Coz I might buy one.
Lube the joints...
meh i like the rg proportions better. but mg 2.0 has the best zeta proportions imo
Is it possible to transform this kit without taing it apart?
No, most transforming Gunpla that have a MA mode tend to require to be taken a part to some degree, unfortunately.
I know this is sort of obvious but, why didn't you put on the stickers?
Planning to paint it, so I didn't apply the stickers.
Ahh nice, would you do a vid of your painted kit?
Walker Frank Rodriguez Dorothy Garcia Matthew
better than the RG
this or rg? or both?
I know the rg is better but i still love this hg
ZombryaTheDark I've heard that rg that transform are a lot more fragile.
I passed on the RG because I heard that its transformation was really fragile and I saw Syd break it on camera on Hobbylinktv lol
Kakarot197 lol your doubt's match mine. as much as I like the two tone colors, I'll pass on the fragileness. hgs are quick and easy. and this one looks great
ZombryaTheDark I've had my rg zeta for 2 years now and transformed it a few times. The waist joint is loose and the upper leg joints have loosend a bit, the only parts that fall off are the side skirts. The only sign of breakage on it are a couple of stress marks in the pelvic region, but no cracks. I'd say my model held up pretty well all this time compared to some of the other ones I've heard breakdown.
(fails at trying not to brag.)
I went and watched Syd's RG Zeta arm fall right off, that sucks. I'm glad I passed on the early RGs that came out.
I love hguc kits but I want kits that have pegs connecting the arms
can anyone recommend some?
Jurich Celeste the hg exia and all of it's variants. I know the age 3 variants (and the age Gundam after it) also have it. The Gundam Tristan/Alex both have it but I wouldn't recommend them. The other early 00 kits might have them as well.
Is Barzam coming soon?
MasterofLEGOS 100
Google HobbyNoToriko, you will see that the HGUC Barzam has been released in Japan, and it is glorious!
Just saw it on Reddit this morning, it looks amazing and surpassed my expectations. It'll take time for it to reach America unless you don't mind importation costs.
Sweet!
Eh, the old HG looks better.
what the hell are you smoking?
The new one is just another Naoki-esque turd. The old HG has much more pleasant shapes.
i take you dont like Naoki...fair enough
Which old HG? The 1990 or the 2003?
i really hope he means the 2003...the 1990 one doesn't have enough SWIVELS..
