Try to use boom and zoom tactic when using as F-15A because the flight model is somewhat finicky.

the russian mains crying in the comments rn cuz the opponent wasnt nearly as skilled as the f15 pilot here and wasnt using the su 27's full capabilities at all
he seemed pretty good they booth seemed like very skilled pilots. To me it seemed like he knew his advantage was in the first turn after the merge but didn't want to continue farming it like that. It looked like the first round he took it to a long fight to test the waters (despite having a fair shot after the merge), second round he pushed the su27 all the way and took it early, and in lot of the other rounds he continues to appear to have a legal shot after the merge on the first turn but chooses not to take it. After that point it looks like his strategy is to play up an energy advantage instead of playing to the 27's strengths and just dumping that energy for a quick kill with aoa. Thats how the f15 is playing. The su27 pilot seems skilled in other ways so I could see him purposefully holding back the full capabilities to give more engaging fights. It can definitely be more fun. Either way they both seem very skilled, I wouldnt go as far as to say one wasnt "nearly as skilled" as the other

So what is your thoughts about how the F15 dogfighting an Su27? Is it conclusive theyre evenly matched or Su27 still better? how about in a 2 circle?
Su27 is better, if a both pilots are very good skill wise then the flanker will win, they’re close but the flanker is better
@@brodykloster2102not necessarily. It pulls more AoA but has a lower thrust/weight. Tradeoffs.

DCS is far more accurate to flight models than War Thunder, Eagle Dynamics cares about proven facts and information than the Russian propaganda Gajin is fed on the forums

Yea it is, it’s also angled upwards which takes more time to get used to but you don’t have to pull as much lead which is super nice
What seems to be the Su-27 having an early advantage with the turn, but it also seems to struggle with later on with sustaining that energy. For instance. The Su-27 looks like it's struggling to gain speed in the latter half of a bout while the F-15 can seemingly hold up to 300kmh and even go much faster by accident. It may not be able to pull as much AoA, but it can hold up the thrust pretty well. Another thing I noticed is how early you let go of afterburner compared to him, which I think gives credence of the F-15's better rating capabilities.
In the West they say that gajin make Russian bias, and in the east they say that gaijin make usa bias, THIS is a game, stop arguing about whose planes are better, skills are important

if only the f15 gets its true engine capability it would never lose in a climb battle. but yeah we all know gaijin makes their own version of usa planes, might slap f15g variant for gaijin. saying this as a russian main
The fact that the F-15 can first turn a flanker is completely unrealistic, the flanker can do a 180 irl in 6 seconds, the eagle takes 8 minimum and the F-15 preforming like that compared to the flanker at low speeds is nonsense, looks like I'll have to do the bug report on the flankers FM that I so dreaded to do.
But he didnt? The Su27 clearly beats the F15 in the first turn after that its just points to who has more skills on making the other guy overshoot, and the F15 was doing everything it can while the Su27 pilot was just chilling
@@brodykloster2102 You cant say that the Su27 will definitely win, its that if the F-15 fights it way on how to fight and the Su-27 doesnt counter, the Su-27 will lose. Its just really who is the better pilot on controlling the fight will win. You cant say that the Su27 will definitely win.
@@WarDaddy8917 and that’s why I said if the pilots have the same skill, the su27 will beat an f15 in a dogfight if the pilots are both skilled, obv an f15 can beat a flanker if the flanker pilot sucks, and vise versa, when it comes down to just plane performance the flanker wins

@@WarDaddy8917 damn, that's fucking stupid, they need to fix the su 27s fm, it should beat them all in a 1v1, not to mention the F-16A block 10 is horrendously over preforming, gajin doesn't like russian FMs, if the SU-27 can't preform like it should in game, I'll file a bug report, it should have a better sustained turn rate and smaller radius
The su 27 still beats the f15 in a dogfight most of the time especially at low speeds. And the f16 beats the flanker in a dogfight.
