12:29 say that legionarre wants to move in that room, he's in doorway, hunter is in adjacent doorway, can legionarre walk diagonally in to the room or is he blocked? I have been running in to massive bottlenecks in some maps as I been playing like diagonally thru a single space doorway thats blocked is not allow because of wall.
The rules allow you to move through two figures diagonally, so I don't see why a wall and a figure would block you from moving diagonally between them.
Event cards happen every round, but every event card has reinforcements as well. When playing with 1 Doomtrooper team, the Dark Legion player gets to call for reinforcements 1 time during the game. They have to declare they are calling reinforcements before they draw the event card. I roll a 4-sided die each round, and rolling a 1 means reinforcements arrive. If I don't roll a 1 before the last round in which reinforcements are allowed, then they automatically arrive. Hope that clears it up. Thanks for watching.
Get Tabled makes sense! I forgot about that from the previous videos. Been doing full coop missions with my son with an AI dark legion player. Trying to base it off your methods used in the solo campaign
@@Mind_of_MATT I have not taken the game out in a while, but I would like to make some more time for it. The new edition has more gameplay options than the older one, including a built-in cooperative mode, I believe. It depends on what you prefer; old school simplicity or modern innovation. I think the new edition will give you more variety and longevity, but the classic is still a fun choice if you don't mind the simplicity of it.
@@GetTabled Thanks for your perspective. I don't really mind the simplicity. It's actually a positive for me. I like that 90s style artwork as well. On the other hand, Modiphius has 2e at a great price right now, a bundle, the base game & a Doom Trooper bonus pack, for cheaper than I can get a good copy of 1e for.

Good stuff. Sorry about your luck, man. That was pretty brutal. I thought you weren't going to do event cards every round?

That's awesome! Hope it's going well for you.
Did you ever get 2e & if you did, how do you like it?
I checked out the kickstarter back in the day, but I was not interested in picking it up. So, I have not played 2e. Thanks for watching!
@@GetTabled I am thinking about getting it before they're gone. Or
I might get the old edition on ebay. Do you still play & enjoy it solo?

@@Mind_of_MATT Yeah I mean the original may still be around for a while so pick up whichever you think is most worth the money for you!
