Watched the movie and it still made the king look like the bad guy. I felt it was all his fault. Reading these comments it seems like him being killed was justified idk what happened in real life but in the movie his dad is trash and made him go crazy.

The ending was very emotional. However, the plot was poorly executed. There are not many relationship bonding scene between the crown prince and the son. Because of that, the emotional ending scene seems severely out of place.
In fact, after his son ascended the throne, he went to his father's grave more times than any other king in history, and it is said that when he returned to the palace after praying, he walked very slowly because he did not want to leave there.

I don't care what the prince did, or why the King felt he needed to do that to your son. There is simply for way to make yourself the good guy after doing something like that to another human being, especially your own child. What a horrible man.

You'll get to know how this problem is complicated if you study Korean history. Or just say after you watch the movie at least. Don't jump to a conclusion.
What a great tragedy for. Crown Prince because of political opponents that the king did not see it himself . Noron versus Soron . Read the memoirs of Prince Saod's wife the ill fated Crown Princess but is it 100 percent accurate of what she wrote or was the translation in English accurate ?

Yoo Ah In is one of the best actor who able to potray his character very well..i am impressed with his acting when i first saw his drama Jang Ok Jung
It took me 2 days to watch this, it's very intense...it stayed with me for a couple days! Phenomenal cast. Highly recommend watching this one.

Yoo Ah I n is one of my favorite movie actor. Sungunkwan Scandal, 6 flying Dragons, Secret love affair now this. More movies and dramas for him.
Yet ,no drama can beat SFD , Yoo Ah In was incredible in that drama actually all characters were incredibles

I personally remember the plot being very well executed but I have to admit it’s been a while since I’ve seen the movie.
