Especially as a rookie who's been targeted through the entire season by racist, heterophobic, jealous, haters, constantly double and triple teaming her on defense and constantly fouling her and with out those fouls being called by officials, her teammates not passing the ball back to her when she's open, her teammates not setting needed pics and screens for her when she's open for shots, and still rating that high in stats, is proof of her determination, and athletic abilities as truly phenomenal!

@@kenneth9874 I listen to her. She loves her teammates. She tells reporters to ask them questions, when they only talk to her. She isn't getting treated any worse than other rookies, like Angel Reese. When they gang up on you to stop you from scoring, that's a compliment. And the Fever uses the same tactics. This league was around when Caitlin was just a little girl. They inspired her. She doesn't want them down rated, abused, or treated like supporting players in The Caitlin Clark Show.
She's also made it very clear she stays away from discussions like this online. Wants no part of it.

3 pt attempts are almost always covered. A lot of the other players 3 pt attempts are from wide open shots. Her team rarely passes to her after she gives up the ball so all her attempts are under pressure.
With that record and don't forget she was chosen 1st in the draft by the worst rated team says alot about her abilities . This season isn't over yet....wait for it !
Snergy stats. She was blitzed 77 times more than any other TEAM in the league which accounts for her lower shooting percentages but that leaves her team mates open more so their shooting percentages are up. Her number of points thus far is irrelevant because she's played in more games. Her high turnover rate is misleading primarily because she making more assists to the paint so about 7 assists/game adds 14pts to her team total. Teams average 50% shooting on turnovers on her 6 turnovers/game which gives them 6 points. That's a big + for her team not a minus. The reason she and other players can't do that as often is a result of her great passing ability. As an aside Pistol Pete shot 40 per game while Clark shot 21/game in college. Do the math taking into consideration games played and she took 500 fewer shots that Pete when she surpassed her record. But he didn't have the 3 point shot. So the most extreme view is with his shots he may have been scoring (not 44 per game but 54) -- incredible! Still, if take into account shooting percentages and assists, Clark comes out ahead in contributed points per 100 possessions which is insane. Both players contributed to over 60% of their teams total point production.
