    Thank you for the review, I am a fellow Suunto athlete and prefer these watches over Garmin and Coros. Love your perspective and functional review.

    Awesome video Andy! I really enjoyed the 9 Peak Pro, bulletproof, comfortable and great battery life. I hope Suunto bring maps to their next version 🔥

    Nice video. Small size and light weight. Good looking for outdoor adventures and daily wear watch and also sleep tracking.

    Hey Andy great vid I’m trying to decide between the 9 peak pro and the baro, the baro being a larger watch. Do you know what size your wrist is? That watch suited you wrist well, thanks

      The Peak Pro is about the same size as my Garmin Fenix 6s (s denoting small). If you’ve got larger wrists go big 👍

      The straps been fine on mine but I don't wear it really tight, especially when exercising because my wrists swell.

    Watch out with Suunto. They don’t honour their warranties. I received a broken product direct from them and they demand I accept their terms & conditions to enable a return but the conditions allow them to charge me! Don’t buy Suunto.

    • @BackpackingUK
      @BackpackingUK  6 місяців тому +1

      MSR and other Brands are similar too. It's mainly because it could be out of warranty or a fault caused by damage from the user.

      @@BackpackingUK agreed - in my case bought directly from them and signed for - reported in writing the fault within two hours of receiving the product.

      @@chrishamilton2527that shouldn't be a warranty return at all. You can return a faulty product under consumer protection rights. In fact since you bought online you can return regardless of reason.

      I didn’t have that experience at all. Out of warranty my watch suddenly stopped working just stuck on the upload screen. Suunto gave me a huge credit towards the 9 pro.

    • @chrishamilton2527
      @chrishamilton2527 5 місяців тому

      @@karybakk of course they did - to get you to spend more money on an overpriced item. They are not an honourable company. They supply a faulty product and then demanded that j accept new terms and conditions to return their defective product which includes me accepting to pay them to make a return. That is not reasonable service or proper customer service. I will continue to expose them at every opportunity. Why are you defending their abysmal service?

    These watches are gadgets that we don’t need, certainly at the prices that they charge! If you don’t know how far you have gone or what altitude you are at, you should not be out on the hills! People who are adventurous and get out into the hills and mountains need to learn basics skills and not rely on fiddly battery driven toys like these ‘smart’ watches, they need to get ‘smart’ themselves. Sorry.

      My phone does all that. It is just profiteering by the manufacturers to create these gadgets, (like Apple watches etc). I think that your channel is excellent, but sometimes you can promote stuff that is way over the top when it comes to cost and actual usefulness.
