I was looking for a lighter weight jacket when I purchased this pattern, but it looks like your fabric choice is heavier. I had also purchased the established cascading blazer - hoping the same thing. do you have any suggestions for fabric

Can you use woven fabric to make this jacket?

I would use a woven fabric that has some stretch. But if you really wanted to make it with non stretch woven, I would try a mockup first to check the fit ❤️

You can but you don't have to. I don't love doing under-stitching with knit fabrics but I know some people love to!

on this pattern I used my overstitch but you can use any kind of stretch stitch. I love using a triple stitch with knits ❤️
