Anne I'm extremely happy you gave the carrots a try because you've used raw carrots. I planned to make a soap with boiled (as it is advised the most) but now I will definitely try the raw carrots first as it's much easier and more practical for me! Thank you for constant inspiration 💚💚💚
I made a carrot soap a little while ago, I've done a cucumber soap and the other day I made a banana soap and a beer soap. I'm going to try an avocado one soon😁
Yay! New video! I have tried puree carrots with coconut milk last year, and it was one of my favorite soaps that I have made. It was also the first soap that gelled and it was exciting to see that happened almost within minutes after the pour.
I just made a carrot puree and goats milk soap. Added annatto seed powder oil infusion also. Really orange. used beech-nut baby food carrot puree. Only carrots. Came out great.
Hello, I made your recipe using individual oblong moulds, it looks lovely a subtitle yellow-orange, I made individual oblong bars then cut in half to give squares, the only thing I found after 36hrs (just wanted to be sure as winter here) they were still a little soft getting out of the moulds. I might need to leave 48hours in future. But thank you it was such an easy soap to make, can’t wait to try it next month, hubby said they look good enough to eat and told me I’ll need to be careful ha ha there’s only the two of us old codgers here..
I've used mango and I was left with a delicate yellow / orange which I really like! It would be good to compare the colours from carrot and annatto seeds?!
I agree with you totally
Use carrot juice to replace all water, that works better 🥕
And freeze it before adding lye.
very nice. I wonder if red cabbage would work? i

Beautiful, beautiful, this would also look nice with poppy seeds.

I was wondering how strongly you can smell the carrot? Thinking about doing this.
What is the weight of each bars of your soap after cutting?
How about beetroot, if that will stay red or change colour.
I've tried beetroot powder, it doesn't work as a red colourant at all.
