Oh WOW 😲 ! This just came on a TV UA-cam mix, and I immediately came to look it up on my cellphone UA-cam. The Righteous Brothers are my favorite music, but I've never seen this! I LOVE IT! And it ends with their exciting performance on the great Shindig! The song is so moving but so short but this mix is longer and with a diversity of creative dance 🩰 clips. I'm 73 and dancing around is a way of feeling good and also healing -- you have contributed to my health and longevity. And you have such a thorough presentation about your production. I'll look at some of your other mixes. Thank you for contributing to the seeming revival of the music of the 60's and of The Righteous Brothers.
Thank you so much for this detailed and heartfelt positive appreciation. Indeed, I had to do quite a lot of research for the final montage, but people seem to enjoy it! The part of you that brings you such good vibrations is the part that will keep you forever young. Let's all get up and dance! 🙂
Well, that was just, so EXCELLENT. Nice job, there Robert, putting this together. nice selection on the different bands, and video from multi-generations. I can almost remember having fun.
Many thanks! Indeed, a lot of search and work went into making this video, trying to find the best part of each selected version, then testing the right order. If people like the result, then I'm glad too! Cheers!
I had this cool idea of doing a mix with 10 different cover versions of the same classic hit by the Righteous Brothers, Little Latin Lupe Lu. And what groovy dancers! J'ai eu cette chouette idée de faire un mix de 10 différentes versions du même grand succès des Righteous Brothers, Little Latin Lupe Lu. Et quels danseurs!
3 min 51 sec are the CHANCELLORS rock and roll band from southwest high school minneapolis, a super hard driving unique rock and roll sound with these guys ! ! they recorded Little Latin Lupe Lu on soma records at Hennepin Ave in minneapolis as I have read may be the second recording of lupe lu after original recording by righteous bros a year earlier. This recording I read spread to chicago and kansas city a year later making chancellors in demand across mid america, spreading lupe lue across mid section america, as orig recording only stayed mostly local in s calif and a few cites outside calif at that time. chancellors recording lupe lu local in minneapolis caused teen bands in minneapolis to copy them, and started playing mid 1960a at minneapolis parks on teen dance fridays. It was favorite with dance teens, a magical time I remember fondly.
If you liked this extended mix, I've also made other mixes: Hit songs sung by the original artist in many languages: ua-cam.com/play/PLWBBSfXw9ml4_kYV_jjueI1KRjWIR6dfT.html

My era! It was magical.
Great song and love the video!
Love all the versions. My favs Righteous Bros. & Kingsmen! Missing Mitch Ryder here!!
This is a very good video for all sorts of reasons. The couple on roller skates and the guy doing the limbo tops my list.
Good choices. Makes you want to watch it more than once!
Love the Heart Beats version
From an era when DANCING was everything.

@@mnstates Thank you very much. I did this video for people like you. Cheers! 🙂
My favorite singers are at the 3 minute-51 second, on this. If I knew this band’s name, I’d search it on u-tube to find the song.
See the info section for all the artists' names. The great band you like are The Chancellors. Cheers!

Nobody did it as well as Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels!!!!!
None can match the Righteous Brothers.
That older shorter woman dancing with the taller younger man is funny.
Yes indeed. Dancing brings joy to everyone!

Check out Mitch Ryder's version, it is the best.
Yes, it is excellent. Unfortunately, it was not available when I made my video. Maybe next time! Cheers!
