nice video but still it is good to use string. I used string builder in my project. I was performing heavy string concatenation eventually string builder broke my application by throwing out of memory exception. String builder was expecting bigger chunk of memory although i disposed string builder object properly. I tried several ways to fix the issue, i tried using statement as well to specify scope. I was under same impression that string builder consumes lesser space. Ultimately i threw string builder in bin and used string concatenation and my application worked just fine. Always good to understand the basics. Thank for the info. One concern: You say that its good to use StringBuilder when the value changes too much. But in the example, we are appending the value to the existing value and not completely changing the value from one to another. i.e, adding the values to the existing one, not creating completely new value.

Even then value of string changes, so it alocates new memory for new string.
