Hi Questpond, just wanted to say this was a great video, and was exactly what I was looking for! One problem though... Does ASPX now use a different method for generating viewstate? I tried to visit a place to decode and I noticed that most of these websites are offline for some reason, then after trying bout 10 places and getting 2 to work, they failed to decode my viewstate and it all appear as strange unreadable characters that made no sense.

I tried to check how gmail handles our login attempts. I disabled cookies in my web browser and then tried to log in. I thought that it might send my session Key via URL. But instead it asked to turn on the cookies. Is Gmail using any other technique for state management?
