Dear BMW E36 Street Drift. You say it is an M50b20 WITHOUT Vanos, but unless I have misunderstood something, the M50 ALWAYS comes with VANOS, it´s just a question of it being "Single VANOS" (Only on the Intake Valves) or "Double Vanos" (On Both The Intake and Exhaust Valves (Like The "TU" Upgrade Versions, like the "M50b20TU" for instance). So in other words, as far as I understand, there are no "NON-VANOS" models of the M50 Engine, Isn´t that true or were they produced without VANOS at all, in the very first months and perhaps even years, before the first "Single-VANOS" came out?
Thomas Lerche no, Vanos came in 1992. M50B20TÜ (technisch überarbeitet) you can even see the difference on pictures of the engines, the early ones (1990-1992) are missing the Vanos unit at the front end of the engine
Punaise pauvre boite de vitesse et levier de vitesse c'est pas bon la mains poser constamment sur le levier tu exerce une petit pression sans t'en apercevoir idem quand tu passe au point mort pourquoi fait 20 allez retour droite gauche c'est tout des petit détails qui fait que la vie des pièce mécanique peuvent être allonger ou a l'inverse raccourcie

Probably he replaced the electronic with that,because he couldn't fix the pixel issue...
