I do the Gen 2 opening at night, I thought I was just weird, so glad to see it not just me! For me makes sense with burglary, happens at night etc, but in the anime was during the day

It is first catchable normally in the BW2 Castelia Park, behind the sewers, but you CAN I believe catch it in Platinum after you get the National Dex, I think in the Trophy Garden. But with nothing gimmicky like that, Castelia Park is the first place. Craig in his Let's Player era! This was a cute video, it was nice seeing the highlight reel of an in-game playthrough you've done. Would absolutely be interested in seeing this for Yellow at the least
I love this new type of video, it reminds me how as a kid and nowadays I still play and get invested in the world, making every play through unique for me. I feel like this solidified a bit as in why scarlet and violet took me a while to get into, but those games just lack the amount of immersion in the game like old games used to do, just because of the open world aspect of it, here’s hoping legends z-a captures this immersion again. And great video as always, looking forward to the next one!
Crystal was near perfect as they improved on everything from Gen 1 and made an even better version of Gold and Silver. Only criticism is while I can forgive them for removing Mareep I can't forgive them for not updating the gym leader and Elite Fours terrible roster and level curve
catch raikou with the masterball hes the best pokemon to catch with master ball, the birds can be caught with Ultras or heavy balls, and JYNX can be used to catch ENTEI or SUICUNE, use LOVELY KISS , and LVL jynx up to LVL 39
Choosing between playing the VC rerelease of Cristal for the Celebi event or HGSS is such a hard decision whenever I want to play Johto lol. Also I see you have changed the eyes on your character. NGL this could just be me and maybe you should get more community consensus, but the new eyes kind of look creepy lmao. It just doesn't fit with the previous avatar's art style, and your old eyes, while simpler, were more unique---especially with the expressions!
Crystal isnt the best, but its still up there as one of the great games in the franchise, gen 2 deserves the love it used to get in the 2000s and 2010s honestly. Glad HGSS get love still but its a shame gen 2 doesn't.
How did you get so over leveled by the elite 4? I've never gotten there with level 60+ pokemon given the silly experience curve this gen has, hard enough getting a team of 6 to 40.
Hey, just wanted to say that the HP of the pokemon you catching in the bug context also count for the ranking if im not mistaken. so its not only maybe he add one lvl 14 :)

I honestly can't stand the old gameboy Pokemon games - any of them. I played them on release too. Nostalgia does not have any hold over me. I just think the UI, the pacing, the bugs, the repetitive spawns, the random battles, the terrible quality of life, the bad sound chip, the awful sprites and 8-bit design quality - all of it gets in the way of my enjoyment way too much to consider these anywhere near the top Pokemon games.
