Ok ngl the first few photos at the park I was a little nervous but those wedding photos!! You absolutely killed it!! They’re beautiful! I bring my x100vi as an extra camera when I do weddings because like you said, it being small and cute makes people less intimidated by it. Loved the video!
Thank you - hahaha, I was just playing around with the camera to get a feel for it before the wedding! The portability factors is definitely a HUGE bonus!
Your wedding pictures came out good! By the way f2.0 on an APS-C crop sensor affects the bokeh and depth of field but does not make any changes to low light photography. F2.0 lets in exactly the same amount of light on a crop frame as it does on a full frame, it only affects the depth of field, so it gives you the depth of an f3 lens (2.0 x 1.5 = 3.0)
I've used the Fuji for a few events and I absolutely love it. However, I am biased since I'm a Fuji fan boy through and through. As for lowlight, the new IBS/ability to shoot at lower SS like 1/30 makes it easier to get light in and remain stable! That way you don't have to bump the ISO so high! And when I'm really struggling for light the built in flash makes for some really fun low light photography (especially for dance parties at weddings!) But this is also my style! Anyway, really awesome vid/ amazing photos!!!
Thank you! You raise a really great point about low light and IBIS. I definitely need some more testing/experimenting time but so far its has been fun to use! 😊
This was really cool, subbed! Also, I bought the x100vi a while back, sold it a month later. Poor battery life, terrible autofocus, slow buffering when using custom recipes, outdated sd card reader...couldn't justify it as a fun camera for that price. I use sony for all the serious stuff now, and a leica q3 for the fun stuff/daily snaps (also slow, weird auto focus and even more expensive, but the image quality is very good I love it)
Thanks! I think when it comes to a “for fun” camera, the most important thing is that you enjoy it and are able to use it for your intended purposes! Haha, if I had a q3, I’d probably sell my fuji too LOL 😅
@@KamiaUnscripted go for it! I was nervous at check out too haha but seeing the results I have no regrets. Btw all your pics from the wedding look amazing, can't wait to see more content :)
I think your settings were off because the buffering is awesome. If you had clarity on anything but 0, the camera factors that in and lags. Simple fix, leave clarity on 0. Continuous autofocus not the best but honestly the single point is fast and sharp even for moving subjects. A Leica is cool but also 4 times the price of the Fuji 🤷🏽♂️
I definitely understand this… sometimes people don’t understand the amount of work that goes into it. In this case, i was happy to test this camera out :)
awesome review
Thank you 😊

Beautiful work
Thank you so much 😊
I've used the Fuji X100V for a full wedding and it came out great! It has its limitations but it was a fun challenge
Oh wow, I never owned the x100v but I’m sure it has its redeeming qualities 😊
I recently sold my x100vi, and boy do I regret it now smh the colors came out so nice!
Noooo wayyyyyy!!! 😢 Hopefully you can get your hands on one soon 😊
@@KamiaUnscripted me too! Hope to see more x100vi content from ya! 🙏
the photos were great!
Thank you 😊

Thank you! This is very informative thank you for sharing. I should have specified my low light comment was aimed at the ability to bump my iso! 😊

Those were wonderful photos. Did you shoot in JPEG , RAW, or both?
Thank you so much! I shot everything in JPEG!!
Your shots were great! I enjoyed the video, and if you ever need the borrow your old Canon let me know 😅
Thank ya 😊 Hey, the Canon 5D Mark IV was no joke… and I’ll pass on your offer 😂

I hate it when relatives asked me to do that. It grinds my gears.
