A week later after that event the roundtable was formed consisting of 12 members who were formerly part of the government and some are talented intellectuals, surprised for the sudden announcement the people doubt that they would make a change after knowing that their are monsters outside the country that can grow limbs and organs but despite their doubts the roundtable quickly began to move and formed a plan, with their remaining troops and machines together with the saved survivors they formed a plan to expand their nation and also to gather supplies such as food and ammunition. In their second day they sent in a squad to scout upper parts of Canada as they are the closest area to be explored and also to build a temporary base to send in information as they begin their next stragic move. And as they expected it was roaming with zombies and strange looking ones as well, without any information about them they avoided them and we're forced to sent back campus and explore safer locations as the roundtable were extremely cautious about losing any troops. Some parts of the land were only filled with normal type mutants and only a few special ones so they were able to retake several small parts of the land while also writing down on what abilities they posses or how strong and hardened they are, some were hurt in the process but nobody was in critical condition *Time Skip! The year is 2045, the Dracula project which enhance both body and mind and increase regeneration of troops was a success and advance Mecha human armour were finely crafted by the inspiration of High ranking mutants. The first generation Spartans are also high in demand in several parts of the world as they needed backup immediately for both offensive and defensive, flesh hounds are also still living deep in the sewers and tunnels hunting down people with their long fangs and that the roundtable are getting stressed over these monsters as they are incredibly extremely fast and can turn anyone they bite into ghouls making them a formidable opponent, And their were also rumours about the government creating Homunculus that have different powers by using the dead bodies of high ranking mutants and troops who have good genetics...but that's just a rumour right? It's not like a certain character is gonna be born there with the power of Vampire that can regenerate and won't die no matter how much shells you fire at it and can do blood bending right?

Greenland was always hard to get to, but I remember that I even one time had problems with the philippines where they would nuke city’s with infected people and they made me lose the game, because then after half invading it with the nano Virus a cure was made for my nano virus and lost. We can all agree that Greenland is by far the hardest to get to.
A friend of mine was playing plague inc with me one day, and he couldn’t get Greenland infected, so he sent an angry email to the devs saying that they should make it possible to sneeze to Greenland from infected boats that pass by, as a way of transmission. Lol.
well, spontaneous infections only happen when playing on Casual. If you want to get achievements, well good luck! edit: spontaneous infection event only happens on casual, but there's still blood transfusion (for maxing out Mosquito/Blood tree) and the spontaneous *animal* infection (from maxing out zoonotic tree) but those are super rare. I've only ever seen the blood one twice in my life, and I've played a LOT of plague inc
For newbies here's a tip: Evolve all way to spread before the kill effect so people wont search for cure neither close ports and airports way too early
this is only good for bacteria and in virus you need to do this only until every country at least has one infected then buy the 3 random mutations and boom your set

This worked for me: never start with Greenland or an isolated country (I personally choose China). Don't play aggressively from the start, don't invest in symptoms, invest only in transmission: the most useful are water transmission (for Greenland) and all transmissions that increase mutation to gain symptoms without using points (bird transmission is the best) . Save as many points as you can, you'll need them later. If your disease mutates mild symptoms, you can leave them (a bit risky), but if it starts mutating many or lethal symptoms, remove them to remain undetected. Stay undetected as long as you can until at least all countries (including Greenland) are infected. When they spot you and they start doing the cure, use all your saved points to get lethal symptoms and win fast. Save a couple for lab upgrades (the ones that delay cure). If you use the fungus, you shouldn't have any problems.
One time I was doing an absolutely brutal run but my plague just wouldn't touch Canada. No matter what I did, it just wasn't affected. Even after I got some people sick, it just refused to spread in Canada alone. Canada ended up leading the cure research and saving the world. I still have no idea what happened.

If you infect your starting country's population above a certain percentage (i don't remember atm but iirc it is above 50 percent) game initiates a random checkup and that checkup has a certain percentage to detect the outbreak. I learned about this in pravus's mega brutal series so if you wanna learn more about it I would suggest his channel edit: i checked it out and if any country gets infected %100, your plague gets instantly noticed

@@78anuragThe trick with fungus is to maximize your infectivity without touching the symptoms and letting it spread as best as it can without touching the spor burst, and then using that as a means to infect the last few countries
Quite ironically, a tactic that I found out before 2020 was that it works great to start off in China. Never had any trouble with getting Greenland when starting there even though it takes some time to get to some other parts of the world.

If you start in Madagascar, you will most likely win even if you use the Mega Brutal difficulty I recommend evolving air transmission, water transmission, cold & heat resistance and is also drug resistant after nothing is healthy You have to evolve a high level of severity,but you have to be faster than cure research
True! My tip in infecting island is to level up to Level 2 the water transmission. And to better infect Greenland, you level up to Level 2 the resistance to cold and/or start on a place near Greenland. I start at Iceland sometimes 😅

If you're a fungus, you can use fungal spores. And also, maybe start of as the UK, and upgrade the air and water transmissions, because the UK is an island country, they have to rely on boats and planes more than mainland countries, so, the UK would brings lots of infected ships and planes around the world. Also, I wouldn't recommend starting off as Greenland, because not many ships come from Greenland, and you'd be stuck for a while.
Funniest part with Shadow Plague starting in Greenland is that this is a VERY good strategy for completing this disease on Mega Brutal. You just chow down on the two islands and murder the Templar and then go from there

This worked for me: never start with Greenland or an isolated country (I personally choose China). Don't play aggressively from the start, don't invest in symptoms, invest only in transmission: the most useful are water transmission (for Greenland) and all transmissions that increase mutation to gain symptoms without using points (bird transmission is the best) . Save as many points as you can, you'll need them later. If your disease mutates mild symptoms, you can leave them (a bit risky), but if it starts mutating many or lethal symptoms, remove them to remain undetected. Stay undetected as long as you can until at least all countries (including Greenland) are infected. When they spot you and they start doing the cure, use all your saved points to get lethal symptoms and win fast. Save a couple for lab upgrades (the ones that delay cure). If you use the fungus, you shouldn't have any problems.
Except for the birds, not being a fungus, and water transmission, this is pretty much what COVID did in real life.
Funnily enough fungus is always the one I struggle with. Everything else I find alright.

One time I was doing an absolutely brutal run but my plague just wouldn't touch Canada. No matter what I did, it just wasn't affected. Even after I got some people sick, it just refused to spread in Canada alone. Canada ended up leading the cure research and saving the world. I still have no idea what happened.

If you infect your starting country's population above a certain percentage (i don't remember atm but iirc it is above 50 percent) game initiates a random checkup and that checkup has a certain percentage to detect the outbreak. I learned about this in pravus's mega brutal series so if you wanna learn more about it I would suggest his channel
edit: i checked it out and if any country gets infected %100, your plague gets instantly noticed
I'll never forget when I was opening a really important document and it gave me the option to open it through Plague Inc. I was so curious as to how that'd work so I clicked it and couldn't undo it.

Quite ironically, a tactic that I found out before 2020 was that it works great to start off in China. Never had any trouble with getting Greenland when starting there even though it takes some time to get to some other parts of the world.
I just upgrade my cold resistance to lv 1 and never upgrade it again except in late game where the green land is stillnt get infected

True! My tip in infecting island is to level up to Level 2 the water transmission. And to better infect Greenland, you level up to Level 2 the resistance to cold and/or start on a place near Greenland. I start at Iceland sometimes 😅

If you're a fungus, you can use fungal spores. And also, maybe start of as the UK, and upgrade the air and water transmissions, because the UK is an island country, they have to rely on boats and planes more than mainland countries, so, the UK would brings lots of infected ships and planes around the world. Also, I wouldn't recommend starting off as Greenland, because not many ships come from Greenland, and you'd be stuck for a while.

Funniest part with Shadow Plague starting in Greenland is that this is a VERY good strategy for completing this disease on Mega Brutal. You just chow down on the two islands and murder the Templar and then go from there
