    Is it my eyes but I can see the damaged area looks soo red.. it's better to use a net on damaged area and crotchet the braids on the net and not pull on the scalp by all means..

    Should have given her a braided pattern to ease the tension of the hair.

    I have alopecia and it sucks. I’m 53 and it’s been very active the last 3 yrs. lots of bald spots all over. I couldn’t imagine being so young and dealing with it. The video was very informative. Thank you 🙏❤️ and you did a great job.

    I just stumbled across your page looking to try and do something to my mom's hair while visiting because she's a little tired of wigs and this and the spring twist video in going to show to her to see if she'd like me to try it for her. Thank you so much I think she'll be happy with either one. The end results are magical!

    I have alopecia and I just noticed a new bold spot on my head. I wanted to install my LOCS again and now I have to figure out to install on a balding top area.

    The ONLY hair I twist with!! It's really no stress on the wrist trying to "turn" the hair. I love it. It's pretty coarse but it works!!!

      @@resemblemebyrobyn I have been following you and so appreciate you for what you do. My question is this hairstyle how long she’ll need to leave it up and do you have a video about how to maintain this look? How long are these twist how long is the Marley hair that you use the reason I’m asking is because I plan on doing my hair within the next two weeks

  • @miacalhoun9464
    @miacalhoun9464 2 роки тому +2

    Not sure you reply to comments on older videos or maybe someone can help me understand if they see this comment. Why do such small parting on the perimeters/edges back and front but everywhere else thicker parting? Wouldn't it make sense to do thicker parting also on the perimeter/edges since that tends to be the most fragile areas?

    • @resemblemebyrobyn
      @resemblemebyrobyn  2 роки тому

      It only looks that way because of the amount of hair I added. I tend to make the parts the same size but add less hair around the perimeter because it’s such a sensitive area and is quick to go. This method has helped my clients retain their edges/perimeter. You’ll see on all my install videos (twists or braids) that’s the method I use.
      Thank you for your question Mia! I hope I helped! ☺️♥️

    Good afternoon 🌞, I have question did you divide the Marley hair? How many twist did you get out of one strand?

    • @resemblemebyrobyn
      @resemblemebyrobyn  2 роки тому +1

      Yes, I do. Determining how many pieces come from the strand depends on the density of the section I’m working with ♥️

    Wouldn’t it be much less tension on the scalp not to have twist the sparse area at all if you’re wearing an updo anyway you should have simply put that area on on loose rubber band or something.
