    Looks painful....adding the net

    • @resemblemebyrobyn
      @resemblemebyrobyn  6 років тому +46

      Before sewing down the net and while sewing down the net, I asked her to let me know if at any point it was painful. I also asked her to let me know if she felt any pain or tension as I was adding the braiding hair to the net for her box braids. I am a pain free braider and always tell my clients to let me know if my instillation is hurting them periodically throughout instillation. It’s all about communication.
      I also braided her daughters hair last week (a month plus after her initial install) and she let me know that even with her new growth she didn’t experience any tension and that her braids were still fine.

      @@resemblemebyrobyn I had forgotten about the pain and tension. My hair is very thin anyway. Thank you for explaining it to me. I like the length.

    Very nice! Covering alopecia Its not an easy task. But you did a great job! Hair loss is so traumatic for women. Im sure this hairstyle definitely made a difference in the clients life

    • @MariaMaria-wv1sy
      @MariaMaria-wv1sy 5 років тому

      It will be even more traumatic when all that stress on the roots of the hair pulls all the rest of the hair out, better that she fitted her client with a braided wig. However yes, her work was well done, she knows how to cover that hair problem, if that' what the client requested then the objective was achieved.

      That section of her hair is already a weak area. I want to ensure that the braids added on the net were as light weight as possible. I saw her recently when braiding her daughters hair (a month plus after initial install) and she let me know her braids were still doing well and that she had no problems covering the area with the crochet box braids.

    Gd job i have a friend who has hair loss in different section of her hair an the hair loss is like one section is bigger the other smaller so is the best way to give her braids is to use the net/net cap on her entire head instead of the sections where the hair is lost instead of this way she wants fullness with her braids an so do it.
