Looks painful....adding the net
Before sewing down the net and while sewing down the net, I asked her to let me know if at any point it was painful. I also asked her to let me know if she felt any pain or tension as I was adding the braiding hair to the net for her box braids. I am a pain free braider and always tell my clients to let me know if my instillation is hurting them periodically throughout instillation. It’s all about communication.
I also braided her daughters hair last week (a month plus after her initial install) and she let me know that even with her new growth she didn’t experience any tension and that her braids were still fine.
@@resemblemebyrobyn I had forgotten about the pain and tension. My hair is very thin anyway. Thank you for explaining it to me. I like the length.
Without the net, her braids would be falling apart within a couple of weeks like mine do and I have mine crocheted.
So the net doesn’t pull out the hair??
@@getoffmypage1111 it shouldn't bother at all.
Please stop Criticizing her I think she did a wonderful job and I love her creativity ,she is blessed with the gift of helping the most difficult cases and that is a blessing from God,be blessed young lady and keep doing your creativity that come from Christ ...🌹🌹🌹🌹💋
Phyllis Lewis This girl is good! I would hold my braid as she braids because I dont like the tug... BUT THIS IS AWESOME!! YOU GO RAH!!!
Great Job
A year later and this is still helpful..... Thanks
Where are you located....you definitely understood the assignment ❤
Thank you! I needed this video 🙌🏾
Awesome! I’m glad I was able to assist!
Wow!! Who knew!! I have thinning spots throughout my head they call them stress patches. Got my hair braided, asked braided to please don't part in the wide spots. Needless to say some parts were so wide looked hideous! Great Job BraidsByRah😍
Daddiesgirl I hate that for you. Hopefully you can share this video with your braider or you can take some tips for yourself for a better install next time. Thank you for watching!
One word 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🙏🏿💜💛💚❤️💙✝️😇
Bichhhhh you bad👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾Where u at I need to make an appointment chileeee
Very creative...but why leave the other side Spacey. Why not cover it as well.
Nice touch love it new sub
Very nice! Covering alopecia Its not an easy task. But you did a great job! Hair loss is so traumatic for women. Im sure this hairstyle definitely made a difference in the clients life
It will be even more traumatic when all that stress on the roots of the hair pulls all the rest of the hair out, better that she fitted her client with a braided wig. However yes, her work was well done, she knows how to cover that hair problem, if that' what the client requested then the objective was achieved.
That's why I love my people .... Nice job ❣️
Omg you just changed my life. I can wear braids again ! I’m literally tearing up! Thank you!!
I feel the same way. I'll be doing this to my own here next week 🧡
Yayy!!! 🤗
I hope they turn out great ☺️
@@resemblemebyrobyn where are you located
Should have used more hair, but I like your idea.
That section of her hair is already a weak area. I want to ensure that the braids added on the net were as light weight as possible. I saw her recently when braiding her daughters hair (a month plus after initial install) and she let me know her braids were still doing well and that she had no problems covering the area with the crochet box braids.
@@resemblemebyrobyn beautiful work sis... I trace and measure the area 1st, add the braids, then cut and sew it on. Less tension on the clients scalp and hair. Brown net disappears into the client's scalp. We can all learn from each other. Thank you so much for sharing your technique... Blessings
Awesome technique . Thank you for sharing your method.
Man only if there was a way to do that for edges
You uhhhh need your edges filled in?
There is a way
@@kishac9706 which is the way
How can I do this without edges?
Great job! I'm impressed! I have alopecia as well
That’s creative... got me thinking now.. good job!
Thanks so much i have hope now the bleach my sis but in my hair destroy the crown of my head😞 after seeing wht the hair doctor did to this woman amazing. I thought i couldn't never wear box braids again thank again doctor miracle.
Thank you for your kind words!
@@resemblemebyrobyn are you in atlanta if so please send me your number need a appt
I love this way instead of using the glue !! Great job honey !!
You have done a awesome job, for I kn your client is happy.
It does look painful, but take it from someone who is aging and losing their hair, it's worth every bit of pain to get your confidence back! BTW, it doesn't look more painful than getting eyebrows plucked!😅 love this💙💙
Nice of you to do that for the lady
Great job very creative🤗
Krissy Brown eyes Thank you!
Excellent technique!! Beautiful work, thank you for sharing.
This is friggin brilliant
I know this is 3 years old but please wear a mask when burning that synthetic hair. I had sinus allergies constantly from burning that plastic.Smoke will go up your nose and throat. Do it in a Open area too.
Great job !!! you gave us hope to ladies with thinning hair. That nothing is impossible thank you again.🤩
Great job! Her braids are beautiful! Kudos to Rah, a gifted and top notch stylist!🌹🌹
Thank you so much Patricia!
Braids By Rah You are welcomed!
This is very helpful because I have alopecia
I’m glad I was able to assist!
@@resemblemebyrobyn where are you located?
Omg this method is so much better than the one where u braid a circle around the spot then put the braids on and it ends up looking obvious and bulky 😩. Thanks for this!!🤗🤗💪🏾♥️
I agree! And, I think I can do this technique myself. Thank you for thinking outside the box and creating it and sharing! ❤❤❤
Spray net with tan spray or blot concealer for a more undetectable area.
Thank you. You gave me hope. I have really thick hair. But with my alopecia my hair is gone in the middle
Thank you for watching ☺️
I love it babes 💙✊💚😘😘😘 I looked this video up because I needed some ideas for my grandmother's hair. Thank you hun a million times plus more✊✊✊✊
Thank you! I hope this method worked out for you.
Very good job‼️👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 I wish someone would do this for me instead of telling me what I CANT get!
Thank you! Trust me, it’s better they tell you that as opposed to saying they can and possibly causing more damage. Keep searching around until you find some one you can trust 💛
Love seeing people using the creative gifts and talents God has given them. Excellent work young lady!💕
I know old but new to me ,i needed this.
Damn black women are so damn creative.
Awesome 👏 great technique for filling in the balding spot. Thank you for sharing how to successfully cover a thin or balding area. You are so very talented.
I am grate ful for this post I have the same problem and i love braids. So because of this post i will ne attempting this so i can take a break from wigs and up dos thank you so much
Gd job i have a friend who has hair loss in different section of her hair an the hair loss is like one section is bigger the other smaller so is the best way to give her braids is to use the net/net cap on her entire head instead of the sections where the hair is lost instead of this way she wants fullness with her braids an so do it.
Wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww 🤔🙏🏾💕
The client would have had better results if had used a net on more surface space. The back shows way more scalp than acceptable.
OMG! That’s amazing. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for watching 💛
She did that
Beautifully done...thank you for the education of this technique.
Thank you for your kind words and watching ☺️
Nice job! Didn't even know there was a technique to cover alopecia.
NICE!!!!!
Please someone can tell me the name of the cap material, or where I can find it. Need it for a client
You just taught me something new keep up the good work job well done.
I could see if she fixed a placed to do the braids first then did the hair. Because the net looked very lose when she started putting in the hair, net to lose.
Never seen this before way to go
I have a client coming in, in a couple weeks and this is going to change his life thank you so much❤️
BEAUTIFUL
Gooood Job!!! All these haters on here! Keep it up
This is a brilliant idea , I don’t have alopecia but I have had an issue with thinning in my crown area of my hair and this is great cause I won’t have to worry about the braids sliding out
You may not even need to add a net. Just try using less hair for each braid in that area. That makes a big difference 💛
Omg!!!! Thank you thank you thank you!!!! This helped me alot
Good stuff
Beautiful work, I love how you netted just that spot and covered it nicely!
Thank you!
Great job looks real natural braids Appreciate Hairstylist like you that takes time for women Dealing with hair thinning and hair loss❤❤❤❤
☺️🫶🏾✨
Freakin genius, you basically created some scalp to attach the braids to.
How much would something like this cost?
Awesome video. Doing some research for a client of mine who wants box braids but hair is thinning in the top. I like this. Thanks for sharing.
Yes me too
Awesome job, I wish you were in Las Vegas.
Where are you located. Are you in Georgia
That was so amazing. Wow
What kind of a net did you used?
Talented 👌🏾
Problem is I have no hairline. Nicely done
You will have to keep head still.
Where do you get the net part from??? Please get back to me. Thanks☺
Local beauty supply.
That was very creative!! Awesome job!!
What and where to purchase the net please and thanks in advance.
Local beauty supply ♥️
I have alopecia
WOW
Hiya.
Really would live to knownwhat the netting is and where I can get it please? Is it plastic? Or cotton? Thanknyou
JE T'AIME
excellent job!
Riah where are you located???
Good job
Do you know how to comeback itching from the net???
Hi Ci Ci! I’ve never had anyone complain so I havent looked into it. The net that I used was Aloe & Olive Oil infused so maybe that helped prevent itching. 💛
Looks good, but should have braided the top in a circle and then used the net for more stability. She not going to be able to pony the to cause she sewed the net
She was able to still style it but I really like that idea. I’ll consider it next time. Thank you!
honestly, that was awesome.
❤❤❤❤❤
Great job!!!
You are talented
Can you put in a few more braids near the back behind the net or add the braids. I want some done but mine hair is thin.
The Black Womban is GOD! This is AMAZING!
Love this!
Well done, but I would have added a few more braids for a complete coverage.
I need help fix braids hair my hair little bald like picture I want that
I need this in my life! Where are you located?
See where is a will there is a way. Absolutely Beautiful!!!
Thank you for watching Linda ♥️
Yep next time sew the net on first so she can have more movement with the other braids. Just a suggestion. She do good work though.
Great job I love it.thats very smart I wouldn't have thought of that
I'm glad I seen this but I have like a stocking like material that's my skin color imma work with. But honestly this is how you would do it if you were making your own wig :) it's beautiful.
Thank you for watching ☺️
Yaaass cold as ice! I braid as well my name is Ms. Rah❤️

Braids By Rah thank you so much.... you did such a great job....this video makes me very happy...and it seems as if it would not put stress on the hair at all.
Tonisha Corpening I’m glad you enjoyed it! Let me know if you try this method and how t works out for you!
Hey.....so I've tried it...i had to have my sister help me....and it definitely worked for me... my bald spot is a little bigger so I couldn't get that perfect circle, but it covered the area. Thanks once again
