A7-DJ was a guesthouse and before the lockdowns a guy turned up for the month. These rooms were 4500 for the month but he was spending 10,000 in the bar every day. I asked why did you get a cheap room and he said exactly the same thing "it means I have more to spend in the bars."
Can see wee Marty up there using the short-time rooms.

Nice place with a location across the street from A7 and reasonable room cost. Best of all only minor things to deal with. Noticed lots of A7 girls as you walked up to the place. They looked good. Thanks for the update and best of wishes.

Yeah it makes sense with it being close to the bars. I had to move fast on this and it was the landlord who convinced me. He respects what we do and believes in what we are doing.
Once again, respect on the entrepreneurial courage. You are turning into Bryan 2.0. Gradually diversifying away from direct naughty boy acitivities, is a briljant move.
I have also acquired a giant outdoor TV screen to sell advertising spaces. It is at a major traffic light.
@@NDTViThailand not bad at all. I’m scanning opportunities in Thailand as well, but clearly have smaller size balls :-) I would prefer mainstream, and doesn’t have to be Pattaya.
@@GlitteratiLive I read a book some years ago which convinced me to change. It was about being safe in your comfort zone but if you want success you have to step outside it. I'm currently well out of my comfort zone and living in some dream world lol.

Good luck with your newest enterprise !!! This hotel has a lot of potential !!! The location is great (close to the bars, the beach & Central Festival). Those smaller rooms on 5th floor look ideal to me for "hourly rental" (if somebody is "tired"). 😂👧😴For my holiday in May I have already booked a hotel but I will consider A7 for future holidays ..... 👍🌴🌞

Hi, Nick. Congratulations on the new A7 Hotel. You have definitely taken over the top end of Soi 7 in a big way. A7 Hotel reminds me of one of the first hotels I stayed at The Visas House just around the corner from you on Soi 8. I didn't last long there the noise was horrendous. Having said that Soi 8 was a hell of a lot busier back in 1991 than it is now. Good luck with the new venture.

Didn’t check the comments before I wrote this. I rarely add my 2 cents, but if I stayed at A7 long term, I would request a room on the second floor. It really could make people think twice about staying somewhere a month or longer while having to climb up to the 5th floor several times a day. You were breathing hard in the video.

Hi i just found you through Kev in Thailand and started watching him watching Geoff, and learnt that kev past away a couple of years ago 😢 still getting through his video's love his walk and talk explaining so much, 👍
Nearly 3 years ago he passed away it was in the hard lockdown back in the UK sadly no one was allowed to visit him.

Stayed at the eastiny 7 many times, a good basic (if slightly tired) hotel.
Sad to see the silver star agogo closed. Had some good times in there. Best of luck 🤞
The Eastiny near the bottom of Soi 8 is still open the others are in need of modernising. 80% of the bars are open it's about time the hotels opened.

Saw Rides for kicks video which said you don't take online booking, only walk in. It's better that way innit not paying stupid amount of percentage to Agoda or Air BNB. Good luck with your new business 👍
I stayed in Hotel Nalanta on Soi PP opposite to Tree town and they had standard rooms with hard bed and rooms with soft bed where I had to pay 100 or 200B more per night. Customers staying longer term would surely appreciate 👍
Let's say book me in for a couple of weeks on August with a soft bed 😉
It is on Agoda just search A7 Hotel Pattaya I think on there I saw 497 baht per night. 👍

They are reasonably new but later in the year we will start to renew the furniture.
@@NDTViThailand I was in Pattaya last month for 10 days, I booked Air BNB condo for the first time before coming and it had hard bed. I always book only for the first day hard beds don't suit me I'm used to latex soft bed. I'll just show up to your hotel and try for one night, cheers 👍 for the quick response
