    Yes. This stuff is from 1994/95. Last day for Amtrak was 4/1/95, so some of the shots were in the last two weeks.

    I think those Lindenwold cars were some of the last rapid transit cars built by the Budd Company.

      The CTA 2600s are the very last, built in 1977 i believe by the BUDD Company.

      Amtrak originally ran the Atlantic City Express (Gamblers Express) from 1989-1995. The service was fairly short lived unfortunately. Normally timetables ran from New York or Washington D.C to Atlantic City, but also saw connection service to Springfield, Harrisburg, and Richmond.

    Do you know anything about Amtrak running a few trains from AC to Philly Airport, as it says on Wikipedia?

    • @willsmileyface6773
      @willsmileyface6773 7 років тому

      +DJ MFS Amtrak never stopped at Philadelphia International Airport, but in the future they will.

    • @Donoltmann

      Amtrak did run to Phila Airport for a short while. They were in a code-share arrangement with Midway airlines for service through to Atlantic City

      no problem, reading blue mountain and northern railroad has an operational RDC if you are interested in seeing one IRL. I believe they run it as a special excursion train.

      Budd RDC. Silverliner Is were like Silverliner IIs but with diamond pantographs. I have a video explaining about them on my Engines of SEPTA series.
