I miss EVGA
Me too.
Have you seen the Gamers Nexus video where Steve went to KingPin's lab and there was talk of him doing collabs with PNY??
If Kingpin does bring his expertise over to them, PNY might be a new viable alternative.
Mind you nothing will replace EVGA. But PNY could be an good option going forward.
Meee tooo.
I know it's just not the same with these other brands. Evga actually seemed to give a crap about the customer and had great service.
Yes, the market is in dire need of a customer friendly high-tier manufacturer/AIB.
Oh hey, that guy looks familiar 😃 Had a great time and was a fun build!
You're the man Jacob. Thanks again for all the help getting me my EVGA 3080 FTW back in the "times that shall not be named". Card is still going strong. Miss EVGA.
Hey Jacob!!!
whats the release date for 5000?
i got this guys signature on a 3090 Kingpin and z790 Kingpin Dark .... not bragging, hahaha
I love the way Jay's voice changed when he says: Corsair 2000D. Phil and Jay have worked for far too long......Jay is starting to sound like Phil. :)
when Phill does a voice-over i want to see him popup out of a corner (or some thing) you could call it a Phill-in
underrated
HEY THAT’S ME! Lol. It was so great to watch this build and hold the table! 😁 And I was thankful to be interviewed!
you're immortalized in the youtube XD
what is the twitch conec ode
👏👏👏👏 Hell yeah dude!
You remind me so much of a friend of mine back home. XD
It is you lol
im glad jacob's still working in the industry.
"You all know what Phil does..."
*My video immediately cuts to ads*
"Philllllll!!!!"
just get an adblock
"You guys know what Phil does." I get an ad lol
Same lol
"Sorry, this promotion is not available in your region". 😥
Jay has talked about why his sweepstakes aren't available outside the US. It's due to so many countries charging tax on physical prize winnings.
@@TheZoenGaming thats bad than for me also :(
Clicks through. 'Sorry, you're creating too many entries; try again later.' Looks at number of entries listed at '0' in the top corner. Stellar work Gleam.
R.I.P everyone outside US
@@TheZoenGamingseems this rule is a bit wide, unnecessarily. The US, India, Italy, and Mexico will tax foreign-won sweepstakes - and that isn’t that many places to ban.
Banning all other places though? That’s just a bit lazy, when 5 mins googling gives you the countries to avoid.
It is PNY’s rules though - seems administered and managed through them, with Jay just doing the build and vid parts.
Phill's robot voice is hilarious 😂
jesus christ, does Nvidia call their spokespeople "Evangelists" ?
Now's their chance to standardize modular power cables!
RIGHT?!
God Please YES!!!
Why is it so many builders seem to NOT plug the power cords in to the motherboard before mounting other components? It's so much easier to do it that way than trying to plug the cords in after everything else is in the way lol
Saying that as someone that has a gigantic case since my 9900K/eVGA GTX 1080 Ti Hybrid build (and it's survived to the current 7800X3D build that's in it) so cord-plugging/spacing is not really an issue for me, and I still do it.
Preference.... Simple as
Depending on components and your hands/clumsyness, it could be that sometimes is easier to plug in stuff after because sometimes with big components or that have some weight, sometimes you can push on a plugged in part and rip the connector and stuff.
Especially if they use a modular setup. Plug in that CPU power then run the cable back as you put in the MB
what is the twitch conec ode
non modular PSUs. that's why. decades of experience there cannot be changed "overnight". muscle memory of sorts.
Pretty darn nice build. I'm still running an Asrock x470 Taichi. It 's been a workhorse with zero issues since new. Edit: of course, with Gleam giveaways, you never know who won. Good luck to all, and congrats to that person.
PNY deserves so much love, they keep it simple for their base cards and keep them at MSRP generally and don’t charge much more for their XLR8 line. Everyone acts like EVGA leaving means there aren’t high quality cards and manufacturers, but I’ve worked with a few pny 40 series cards and they are awesome and the XLR8 line is the absolute best looking card for vertical gpu mounting imo.
Oh hey Mrs.JayzTwoCents in the background! :D always great to see her in a Jay video! :D :D
Really love your personality, Jay. You seem like a good dude, and you did well in front of that large of a crowd. Props man!!!
I rally want to build a Small ITX build next. My current mATX is a nice compromise but I want to go full small form factor next time.
Was so expecting Jayz to say " it can be smaller if you watercool it " :D
Would love it but I feel like i could try for 25 years and the same type of people who have no use for it would win like they professionally win things and yeah that's an actual thing
I've tried for 38 and only won $500 Amazon gift card for Call Of The Arbiter Raid Shadow Legends.
I need one. Jay you taught me so much I've been doing PC stuff now for about a year your videos were the first ones I came across. Thank you
I'm due for upgrade, running AM4 R5 3600 with RX 6750XT. Awesome for 1080 gaming, good with Da Vinci, slow at AI. Times change as do needs. My PC started as a 386SX with 4Mb RAM and a Cirrus Logic 256Kb graphics card. This is the hardest upgrade choice I have faced.
I built a VERY similar system to this, earlier this year, though mine has the 7900 GRE. Great system, and I wholeheartedly agree with the cable management comments. Orienting the rear IO directly down is a phenomenal way to manage cables, if you’re consistent with it. Awesome little ITX board too.
What would be REALLY helpful is a complete list of the top tier card's PCB dimensions for us SFF liquid cooling folks.
Holy montage! Phil's work is truly awesome!
We need to have this crowd reaction for whenever Jay's future builds post
Finally getting parts for my new machine.
Congrats to future winner!
Massive shoutout to the people from the PNY Booth, they made me feel like a damn rockstar for my Lilith PC. Shout out to Jay and Phil for being BEASTS! Sad I had a diabetic moment and had to run for food and missed the posting haha And I'm kinda in the video even LET'S GOOOOO
I love that look on her face I know that look so well as I’ve used it every time there is a camera on me.
I build in a Jonsplus Z20 case and can recommend it for people not sure if they are upto the task of sff. It does not need a riser cable and works with a uATX board and an full ATX psu. For GPU longer then 29cm you need to watch the length of full ATX psu not going bigger then 16cm or fit any SFX psu.
Jacob! Great build, thanks Jay.
Sorry, this promotion is not available in your region
More SFF builds please. There are a lot of interesting cases out there. I currently like the Jonsbo Z20.
This is always the best part "Sorry, this promotion is not available in your region" 😂
Love your work Phil!
I dont think I'll ever understand people that are into micro atx /SFF and use it as their main desktop/gaming PC....
you have the same power and not a huge brick in your living room. If it's well done also silent with oc.
Had a great time watching it live!
SFF? But it's 24.8L, that's like M-ATX territory ... damn, who choose such huge case?
I enjoyed watching you work in real life. Amazing stuff!
CL36 memory timings are not tight, with DDR5 6000. Spend $7-10 more and upgrade to CL30, if you plan to built something like this system.
Its plenty tight.
@@Jayztwocents That's what she said.
@@Jayztwocents I assumed the kit in the video was around $85.00 (market price for CL36), but I was wrong, it's $99.99. You can find many 32GB 2X16GB 6000 MT/s CL30 kits for less than that, so I will stand by my statement that it is not tight enough.
Personally I would have used DDR5 with faster timings (I.e. CAS 30). I’ve recently done an all black, no RGB SSF build with a smaller case (~15L). Very similar specs but went with a 7900 XTX instead.
Is that your kid there? It's cool you have her with you. She's great. :-) Also: Kudos to Phil, great video quality!
10:25 Heyyy! Thats me! It was super cool to do this!
Crazy smoll build 🔥
I wouldn't be able to pull that off in a crowd
been ages since i made an SFF. Ancient Shuttle during the P3 era. maybe in the future another one is in order but my current machine is only a year old
My old boss Jacob! I remember Nvidia always trying to scalp him. They finally got him! I talked to him recently and he said it was the right move.
I clicked your profile to see who you are, and I noticed we subscribe to many of the same accounts. I highly suggest the "nerdnest" channel/podcast. The phawx and retro game Corp are routinely on the show. No affiliation just thought you'd probably dig it!
@@dtectatl1 oh, I love Phawx and Retro Game Corp, I don’t think I know of Nerdnest but I’ll check them out. Thanks! If you wanna see me in the EVGA days you can go back several years. I was a PM like Jacob but I also ran the UA-cam channel and was in a lot of videos.
@@NOsauce86 rip EVGA 🫡 hope you're doing something equally as amazing today!
*Saw the tittle
Me: Oh~~

Me: Of course
Is that Heavy D?! A bunch of celebrities at Twitchcon.
I bought the loki sfx for my mid tower. Wanted that atx 3.0 and space in the psu basement to route cables easy. Most of these sfxL psu have an adapter bracket for for normal size cases.
I'm on YT too much...
Phil's corrections are always funny..
What what?!?! This would be so sick!!! Please please please!
He clearly injured one of his fingers during that event 🥲
not signing up for any more supposed give aways. all that happens is you constantly get spammed with ads with no way to opt out as they continue to spam you even after opting out
Do you not have a junk drawer email address that you give out to to companies (or ppl) you don't actually trust or want to hear back from?
You gotta read and click the opt out option. I also only do the visit entries or anything that doesn't have me following stuff I'm not interested in. My email is pretty old and I don't really get anything I don't want and even my spam folder is not too bad at all.
Really wish we could watch the entire build with the crowd interaction. Phill removes the best parts. Also love PNY 4070 ti super cards.
Build it, and game on!!
Glad you weren’t sweating in front of huge crowd if the build didn’t go right.
"The power thing!....." and he's built computers before. 😂😂😂😂😂
damn fine work phil making that thing look so beautiful......
I have not yet attempted a SFF build. Would love to win this one, both to supplement my aging full size tower, but also just to experience what it is like to work in a SFF rig.
I feel myself saying before the 3 minute mark "Jay already said that"
Wish EVGA would come back :( That case looks really nice.
Awesome Thank you for Sharing 💯✴
That's a nice small footprint. case. But i'm sure with big hands it wouldn't be easy to build.
@1:03
That's what he said... and that's what she said 😂😂😂
Oh man what you said about the Table and taking your chances what you said about taking your chances wasnt something i was expecting you to say
Damn Phil, some epic shots there!
Only thing Id change, is I dont do SFF builds. Been using nothing but ASRock MBs for as long as I can remember. They are great boards and easy to set up. Graphics card and CPU are something I couldnt do (Cost). So Im in on the Contest. Im not a winner on contests ever but I still try.
Yes!!!! Maybe I will try again to build my first PC in a SFF!!!! I want one. :)
jay was at twitchcon, add this to the list of reasons of regretting not going
Is that a beefy and young Chuck Norris?!
Jay: "Everyone watching is eligable"
Me: 😯
The contest: "Sorry, this promotion is not available in your region"
Me: 😥
PSA: When a UA-camr says “everyone” or “worldwide” they generally mean “The US, Canada and like 3 countries from Europe”
I did not say everyone is eligible, I said everyone can click and see the list of rules and regulations.
@@Jayztwocentsfair, I just assumed it would work since it looked to be similar to the amd giveaways on ltt.
I should probably open my ears properly next time😂
Can i get the TwitchCon code key even if im not there? Im at work unfortunately 😅
Only US I guess. 😔 Good luck to everyone who can enter.
Regardless of the motherboard limitation they placed on that case, it is NOT SFF. That case is 50% bigger than many SFF cases on the market.
Yeah I just did a SFF build that's barely bigger than an Android TV box. That's small. There are no slots. It's tiny tiny. But it is all I needed for the place it will be used. It can VESA mount to the back of a monitor if needed.
itx builds are a lot of fun
i am LOVING this new initiative from nvidia, a 305mm 5090 is gonna be a day 1 buy for me if they make one!
I'm confident they will. You Were talking about thickness right? Not length? 😁🤣
Bro not in my REGION WTF good luck to the winner
Hmmm I don't really think this qualifies as sff. It's pretty much mid tower sized at this point.
BTW, Jay you're looking good. I think you recently updated on your health issues and things were looking better. Well, It shows.
Fun video.
OMG! I did see you. I saw someone who reminded me of you, but it was you! lol
Make a video on Obsidian Series 1000D Super-Tower Case. Thinking about getting it to make and gaming/streaming PC. I like the size of the case.
Jays epic cents!?!?!?
He said exactly what Jay said at 2min 😂😂😂. That means he didn't even listen what Jay said.
RIP Only in the US, and Im in Canada lol
Anyways, this case is the case Ive been eyeing for a bit, reminds me of the Xbox Series X. I need a smaller build lol
Give your case a better then average best case scenerio. :)
has there been any news on wether Kingpin did or didnt decide to team up with PNY?, im pretty sure during a nexus gamers youtube vid Kingpin said he was thinking about teaming up with PNY
I thought he ended up with deBauer
what is the twitch conec ode
My asrock motherboard is going strong still. Got a z690M-ITX motherboard
With the newer generation corsair PSUs the plugs on the PSU side are the same size as the 12VHPWR connector.
These PSUs have been out for quite a while and nobody's reporting them burning up.
I wonder what makes these safe and the 4090 not. No cable bending on the PSU side? More room for current on each pin? Better plug locking mechanism?
millimeter och Celsius .... gäller 🙂
x16 Gpu Slots in the back of the cases and motherboards should be only dedicated dimensions for gpu's and all the other pcie slots should be moved away from the gpu slot areas which causes overlapping with those x8 x4 slots.
damn, this is my dream gaming system too
Wasn’t really a true SFF build. That case is massive. A true SFF build is the FormD T1, Fractal Terra, Dan A4H20, Ncase M2, Louqe Ghost, Mcprue Apollo SE.
Gate keeping SFF, lol, that's a new low even for these comments
@@Jayztwocents sorry I didn’t mean any disrespect by it lol Just would love to see you do a custom loop build in a 9-12 liter case
@@Jayztwocents but in all honesty though if you go to the SFF discord 80-90% of people there will agree anything higher than 20liters isn’t really SFF. They may label themselves as SFF but that’s more micro ATX territory rather than SFF. That’s like saying the Lian Li Dan A3 is a SFF build.
You're not wrong, just who cares.
Love you Jay!
Tin foil hat here, sff was created because the normal 50 series are gunna be gigantic and they need somewhere to point sff builders to
Should I wait for the 50 series or just go with 40 series don’t really have a budget just curious on your thoughts
“little convention” 😂😂😂😊
wild storage running at ddr2 speeds.
This powerful SFF Gaming PC could be yours! If you were a resident of the united states! ^^
Good luck to those who can enter, looks like a pretty impressive little machine!
lol, this used to be standardised sized gpus.
