My factory driver's side corner light flew out of my car while driving down the freeway the other day. I ordered a new set of clear corners, and a new set of DEPO Smoked LED (kind of got a silver and black theme going on). The DEPO LED's are scheduled to arrive tomorrow. We'll see how they look and work. The video helped out though, so thanks for that. If I were to give my two cents, I may have cleaned the area up a bit a bit before installing my shiny new lights, and also cleaned the area inside the fender wall a bit before sticking the double-back tape on a possibly dirty surface, and lastly... I wouldn't recommend dangling the light by the wires. Not trying to be negative, just giving some feedback so that your videos fully resonate with us, picky bastards. Thanks again Evan.
Nice 🤘🏼 I have integrated LED side repeaters on the fender. They come up on eBay every now and again. Much brighter than putting an LED 501 into the OEM lens.

I have the smoked version in my e46 m3 imo they look way less "euro" and cheapo. The inside behind the lense is also black instead of that cheap plastic chrome look. Make sure you line up and tighten the ONE screw holding them in but dont be stupid like me and be mindful the e46 is quite dated now and parts will be brittle... that said... I stripped the mount and it was a whole thing sourcing the replacement...lol

Great install video! For some reason my turn signals stay constantly illuminated when my headlights are turned on...do you have any idea why this may be?

This is normal with every E46, you need to code them off

Fabien Ferlat simply. All aftermarket and factory housings are plastic.
Blitz Court of course. But on the factory one, it is less visible. And this one looks particularly cheap. With the clear turn signal, the headlights form a single block.

Did yours come with an installation guide that told you to readjust the headlight in order to fit the corner light? Mine are the clip ones and I have to move the headlight a bit to make them fit
Hey man mind explaining how you readjusted the headlight? I have the clip ones too and they don’t fit super well
@@anthonykellerman6594 this was so long ago and I’ve since got rid of those garbage eBay lights. But I think I unbolted the 8mm screws that hold the headlight in to give me more wiggle room. Then I used my fingers to manually compress the clips on the corner light to ensure they go into the slot without breaking. I also remember having to manoeuvre the wiring harness first before putting the lights in

Totally unrelated but can you make a video on how to disable the auto lock feature of the e46 when driving past certain speed thresholds. Every time I exit my car I have to press the unlock button near the hazard light button to get out. I want the car to NOT lock itself unless I push the button mentioned at my discretion. Is there a way to do this permanently? The key lock trick using the key hole in the door is not what I am looking for in case someone mentions that solution as its only a temporary fix :)
Yes there is a permanent fix for this. Odd my car didn’t come like that. Is your car a European version by chance? Also I can show a couple ways to fix this either using bmw scanner, Carly, or NCSEXPERT. Which way would you like me to show? The easiest would be Carly.
Thanks for the response. My model is european spec. NCSEXPERT would be my best bet. I have used that before to code US style lights etc
