    I find that oatmeal makes me super tired unless I boost it with protein (hello nut butter). I'd love to see a video on quick and easy vegan breakfast ideas. Also, your t-shirt is cool. Bob's Red Mill is a super neat store in Oregon! BRM is AWESOME!

      Same! I need to boost my oats with protein and peanut butter to hit my calorie goals. I'll keep that video idea in mind, too...thanks for that!

      I follow Bryan Johnson's Blueprint diet and start the day with celery juice mixed with green powders. It gives me alot of energy. Oatmeal and rice made me sluggish.

    This is my 5 th attempt at a wfpb diet and everytime I’m forced to eat some source of animal protein because of how incredibly weak I get to the point of passing out it’s scary and it’s not blood sugar related cause I drink orange juice and eat bananas , it’s an unexplained extreme weakness that feels scary , the fact that I immidately feel better once I eat meat makes me very suspicious of the diet I doubt anyone can go on feeling like that , this is my last attempt at this diet before I quit for good, I’ve stocked up on vitamins b12 d, multi vitamin, nutritional yeast tons of beans and rice so this is it for me, I’m 3 days in and yesterday after my walk I started to feel very weak again but a few bananas held me

    I've been following those exact guidelines very rigidly for three months now. I don't drink caffeine or alcohol, i completely banned any packaged and processed food, I eat between 2000 and 2500 calories a day, I eat beans, nuts, avocados and whole grains, I try to include as much raw food as possible and still, I feel sluggish and have a hard time working out and doing daily tasks. In your experience, how long before I start to feel the benefits? It's my 5th attempt to eat WFPB diet and I've never been so disciplined. I must admit I'm a little bit discouraged...

      Thanks for sharing and good on you for making your health a priority. Honestly each body responds differently so it can be hard to tell. That being said, how's your sleep and hydration? Are you getting 7-8.5 hours of sleep per night? Are you drinking water with each meal/snack? Those are usually my first questions when it comes to fatigue as it helps to narrow down causes.

      Also, might need to check b12 levels. Talk to your doctor about supplementing if low.

      I am the same. I always think I’m going to ace it this time and end up so tired and as soon as I eat a bit of meat I perk right up again. I think strictly plant based isn’t for everyone. I eat probably 80% 20% right now and that seems to be the best.

      @@anahenderson998 wow did you read my comment? seams like a ton of people have the same problem with that strange extreme fatigue after day 4-5 of strictly vegan, I tried to do it 5 times my last attempt I almost made it for a month but quit again after 3weeks because I was about to pass out after going for a light jog, I tried to fuel up on bananas and peanut butter but nothing could bring me back to baseline , I had to eat a a chicken breast with mushrooms and bacon and LITERALLY IN LESS THAN 15 MINUTES I STARTED FEELING LIKE MYSELF AGAIN AND WAS ABLE TO JOG MY USUAL 5 MILES WITH NO PROBLEM!!! , THIER IS NOTHING I WANTED MORE THAN TO BE A FULL TIME VEGAN, FOR THE ANIMALS, FOR MY HEALTH, FOR THE ENVIORMENT BUT LORD AS MY WITTNESS I cant DO IT, AND I HIGHLY DOUBT ANYONE can WITHOUT FEELING LIKE ABSOULTE SHIT. IM STARTING TO BELEIVE THIER IS A false agenda ON THE INTERNET PROMOTING THESE EXTReME DIETS LIKE VEGAN AND ARNIVORE TO KILL PEOPLE, I WILL STIK TO WHAT HAS MADE ME FEEL MY BEST ALL THESE YEARS AND THATS A STANDARD LOW ARB DIET.
