A classic song sung by a girl with a beautiful voice and she is beautiful in a classical way. Beautiful understated elegance
She is a real life Disney Princess 😍😍❤😍❤❤
There's a saying old
Says that love is blind -
Still we're often told,
"Seek and ye shall find."
So I'm going to seek
A certain lad I've had in mind.
Looking everywhere,
Haven't found him yet;
He's the big affair
I cannot forget.
Only man I ever
Think of with regret.
I'd like to add his initials to my monogram.
Tell me, where is the shepherd for this lost
lamb.
There's a somebody I'm longing to see
I hope that he
Turns out to be
Someone who'll watch over me.
I'm a little lamb who's lost in the wood.
I know I could
Always be good
To one who'll watch over me.
Although he may not be the man some
Girls think of as handsome
To my heart he carries the key.
Won't you tell him please to put on some
speed -
Follow my lead -
Oh! How I need
Someone to watch over me.
Someone to watch over me.
Laura Osnes is beautiful in every way and one of the best, if not the best female vocalist I have ever heard.
There is something very special about her &her performance... ❤ Such an awesome performer!!!

She played the sunshine fairy in “Team Umizoomi”. And “The Sunshine Fairy” was one of my favorite episodes when I was little.
I really wish I could have seen this entire show. This musical is one of my favorites.
Laura Osnes is a lovely and talent woman.
Can't wait to hear Sierra Boggess sing this
We are doing this musical for our school and I'm excited! Its so cute!
We love Laura Osnes!!Great song!
She is a truly great singer. Why have I never heard of her before now?
Perfection!
I saw in her back in '10, when she took over for Kelli O'Hara in "South Pacific" at the Vivien Beaumont. What a wonderful performance!! Remains vivid in my mind.
A real angel wow
Beautiful!
Beautiful job
Beautiful song rendered well.
She is lovely.
The actual queen herself 💕
can't wait to perform with Laura in Utah this December!
Her voice is so high people missed the like button
Belen Fuentes I love her voice and her so much. But this song isn’t high at all
Belen Fuentes that doesn't even make sense
Laura Osnes is a babe!
I can't figure out how she sat down on that crate so gracefully. She never looked behind her to make sure she was in the right place to sit down, I didn't see her feel around for it with her feet, I know she can look at the numbers on the tape but I just don't understand how she literally didn't move her feet at all.
she had a mirrors in front of her.
oooooh gotcha, I can sleep easy now :p Thank you!
Julia Westwick She also already walked very close to it, so I'm sure she knew she wouldn't fall haha :)
you find the seat with the back of your legs first
It's also muscle memory. We do things just like it in our production of Aladdin without mirrors. U learn it by feel and being aware of ur surroundings. I have to back up into others and we all must meet with our backs while we r spinning which isn't an easy feat. It's all about learning the feel with the music then ur mind and muscles remembering that motion. Also known as the magic of the stage
Oh and she can sing too!
😭🙌🙌🙌💘
Where can I get the sheet music from for this?
You might find it if you search for the song but from Oh, Kay! The musical xx lots of the songs from crazy for you are in different musicals

What key is this in?
Gabby Smith Ab Major 👍
Is this a Gershwin piece?
Song by George (music) and Ira (lyrics) Gershwin from the musical Oh, Kay! (1926)
Keith Logan I thought it was from crazy for you??
Crazy For You is a modern musical based around some great Gershwin standards, originally written around the first quarter of the twentieth century and possibly into the thirties.
hi holly
Does anyone know which key this is in?
i believe its the original key of c
Best song by George Gershwin? I certainly think so!
My favourite song also. Some years ago I went to a concert by the John Wilson Orchestra, which was a programme entire by George Gershwin. That was a blissful evening!
Couldn't agree more.
On the hight note, wish she kept it more “heady” instead of “chesty”.
Lovely - but it can't beat the version recorded by the First Lady of Song, Ella Fitzgerald, on her all Gershwin album.
I much prefer Julie Andrews singing it. This girl sings it nice but she isn't a patch on Julie Andrews. Love you Julie Andrews
