Wow, this is an incredible amount of information packed into a relatively short video. I love how you got right to the point and stayed on topic. No painful intro. Subscribed!
I love all your guides. The locations that Ive researched and been to have always matched your videos. All I have to do now is just watch your videos. Thank you, and keep it up!
I’ll be visiting Reno next month for the first time and of course does not want to miss Lake Tahoe… thanks so much for the info and recommendations. Greetings
In the summer of 2023, my wife and I had a chance to snowtube at the top of the mountain on the Summer Solstice. We really wanted to hike the mountain ridges but it was still snow covered. Then we kayaked on the lake the very next day. Lake Tahoe is truly an outdoor adventure paradise. Cannot wait to visit North Lake Tahoe in the future.
Whether visiting north or south Tahoe, I enjoy taking I-80 and cutting through Truckee. Driving alongside the Nevada side of the lake towards Stateline is awesome. Tread cautiously heading directly to South Tahoe via I-50. Echo Summit looks cool, so long as the 7000 ft drop to your right won’t startle you. Tread even more cautiously if driving through the SOUTHWEST portion of the lake. Emerald Bay looks cool, so long as the 7000 ft drop to “both” your left and right along a very narrow one-way lane doesn’t startle you.
Love this Chris, as someone from UK I would love to do a trip into San Francisco (already visited in 2023) up to Reno, Lake Tahoe, Yosemite and then back home via San Francisco, this seems feasible based upon your guide.
Great video! Definitely suggest bringing chains even in the shoulder season. We were there Mid-April. 1st day it was 70 degrees and sunny. Next two days it snowed a foot and we were stuck an extra day because our rental didn't have chains and they had I-80 shut down.
@@YellowProductions Chris, a quick question. So I will head over Lake Tahoe south from SF, by the time we would arrived in the afternoon, is any area that won’t be filled up and cool I can still go to
Hi, First thank you for the information I'm planning to drive there in November, and only me and my one friend are going. Will the roads be okay in November, or it's gonna be slippery?

Azul, I've been an avid watcher for so long, but now you're getting to the heart of the matter... What do we all do about the banks?
Good for you guys to travel in California...
I was a little shocked you didn't mention the Tahoe Blue Event Center! Was hoping to get your opinion on it
How did you do the animation of how you showed how big the lake is?
After Effects

Guess another reason not to leave California. Beautiful
SAFS "biggest reason to leave" but it is beautiful
Lake Tahoe to Yosemite a 5 Hour drive?? Did I hear that right.
Yup
Mark summers does Lake Tahoe
what about Mark winters?
Is possible swimming in the Lake?
Yes!
Be prepared, Lake Tahoe is very deep and very cold. Also, an earthquake fault runs under it.

Have you ever tried going around a traffic circle a 100 times?😎
Sounds like a good video idea 😀
Where I was born and raised, and is now a victim of over tourism.
No, you aren’t responsible for something that is a long trend.
