The charge port area could possibly get scratched from plugging in your charger, so the wrap is just an added protection :)
This is the proper technic to install the wrap! Other videos show awful and inproper ways of installing.

Bought mine from EVANNEX.com. Got the one with lighten bolts and love it. I wish I had the stay open tip before putting mine on. The other tips are great too. I checked the EVWRAPS price and they are quite a bit less expensive than what I paid and look good too. My grandson said he thinks mine looks too glitzy.
Yea they are way less in price, and they are high quality, made with 3M material.

@@JohnathansWorld Sure would. I noticed mine was starting to split around the charging port. Guess when pulling the handle out, it must be slightly catching the edge. How do I give you my address in a not so public way?
