I am so grateful for this video, very well explained thru the process, thank you so much! I just wish you should have used a better (cleaner?) camera.. but hey, the message was spot on! Cheers
Thanks much for your video. Mine is 2009 and I’m only owner. Chain still within wear limits but decided to replace all. Front sprocket but came off without using wrench...scary. Will check this more often. Thanks!
Might have to cut a slot into them (Dremel or similar) and then use a flathead screwdriver. I've had luck once with the rubber band trick, you wedge a piece of rubber band between the bolt and socket.... Gives it just enough grip to get it out.. Worth a try
I never got around to chopping up the video. Important parts were to make sure to torque the bolts to the right force on sprockets, mushroom the rivet on the chain approximately, and measure chain slack.
Not easily.. If you go up or down on teeth it will change your gearing and speedo readouts. I've heard that there are electronic boxes you can put in line, but honestly I've never researched it as the change in speed isn't going to be that great of a difference and I'd only worry about it if there is a cop around.
Yes... Lots of issues with the S3. Overall make sure your gas is clean and add fuel injector cleaner...I was misfiring and that helped the nice idle. Also watch for air leaks and make sure all the airbox parts are on clean and square... That helped a different time.
Thank you for this video!!! I have to do this job tomorrow and I feel much more confident now.
Seriously considering buying time lapse cameras to document repairs on my Triumph just to share with other triumph owners.
This is actually a very good how to video. Great speech, and visual format. Thank you!

I have two rounded out screws at the bottom of the front sprocket cover. Any tips for getting it off?

Hi. Have you had any problems with the engine. Like rough idle?

I hear you, it isn't easy. Try a longer lever, I used a long process of pipe over my wrench to finally get it done.
