I’m brazilian and humility and sweetness are our middle names. We are raised to be good people first, not to be “the best” or the richest as is taught and valued in so many other cultures etc.

That's awesome. Some parents don't bother teaching their children their native tongue. Not good. When my brother and I were growing up our parents insisted we speak Hausa, a west African laguage. We're Americans born and raised but we are both fluent now. I love that he speaks Portuguese and understands mom. That's awesome.
