The absolute best tip I can give for back to school supplies is this. After school starts and all the stuff goes on clearance buy all you can afford. It doesn't go bad and if you have littles you are going to need it for years to come. Also, shop sales. Even if it's the week before, wait. So much of it goes on sale. The first week they really aren't going to need much. So waiting is your friend. No tip for clothes, mine wear uniforms, boring 😂

Yes it does get very expensive if you have multiple kids that you are trying to buy stuff for back to school shopping for them. I like how you just buy the necessities for them and not worry about buying everything on the list that saves money. ❤

My son is in nursery(preschool) which finishes this Friday and won’t be starting school(reception) until 11th September.

The Pat Pat clothes are so cute, the kids did a great job modeling!! We’re getting a Ross in an old Bed Bath Beyond building, can’t wait to see what that’s like. You’re so smart to get elastic waist school pants for Nolan. The zippers/snaps can be hard for little ones. I think the clover in your aloe plant is a weed that was in your dirt, but it is kind of cute 😊. Thanks for sharing all this great info!! ☀️☀️☀️
That's what I thought, too about the buttons being too hard for them. Arabella can do the snaps but not buttons yet.

I love to shop the school supplies when they go on sale after school starts! Our school pretty much keeps the same supply lists every year so I just look at the next grade and keep an eye out for sales and then hide them at the top of a closet until the next year!

I went to a back to school event. They gave out for back packs, some school supplies, they had 20 vendors, gave out free food to families and gave out free haircuts. I got some school supplies there but I still have a long list. Every grade is different and supplies list gets longer and longer.

Hi there Marie. I started getting clothes for my son. He is so skinny it's hard to find the right size. He is all legs. I ordered tops the colors are so nice. He grew out of 10-12. Then just put in another order shoes and socks. More pants . I know what you mean about saving money. My son's back-pack is still good. Still looks brand new. I have hand-me-downs and see if there is tops he can wear. My son won't start until end of August. All 3 kids in school . Love the clothes for your kids. Enjoy your video's. Hugs❤

I move items around my house too!! Everything looks great. All the clothes were adorable and you had the cutest little models!!! I'm with you, this summer flew by!! We got out of school May 26th and our first full day back is August 7th. I love getting back into a routine but not ready to send my baby back already!!!

Ugh summer is flying right by! We don’t go back until the first week in September here in jersey , but like you with 4 kids have to get it done early! I do the same with the backpacks , if they are in good shape I let them get at least 2 years out of them! School shopping for 4 is so overwhelming 😅 Great video as always Marie, thanks for sharing! Pat Pat has cute clothes. I told my daughter-in-law about them. Check out Jansport backpacks for the littles. They'll last them a long time. My mom got me one for my freshman year, and it lasted me all 4 years of high school. I still have it.

Good morning Marie! Girl you found some cut clothes at Ross! I’m sending the twins to VPK and I have to get them some clothes. The bigger kids wear uniforms (thank the Lord). I try to buy the necessary items I know they will need for school in the beyond summer. Like I buy pencils, folders, composition books, notebooks, pencil pouches and so on. Try to save as much as possible.

Single mom of 4 here.. Walmarts prices for back to school are sometimes cheaper. Those composition books are only .50, the plastic folders are like .25 . Definitely compare prices at both stores next year.
Yes, also a lot of stores will have sales closer to school start dates for their area. Waiting definitely helps. I shop clearance afterward too.
I live in an extremely poor area and they don't require kids to bring anything. I still buy mine a few little extras, but not too much. I don't want other kids that can't afford supplies to feel ashamed or sad. But, I try to help with class supplies for all kids.

I love Summer when I'm by the pool or doing Summer activities, otherwise, it's just too dang hot! Lol. We have pretty warm Falls. It doesn't start getting cool until October-November usually.

In our city in Indiana, all school lunch and book fees are free! My only daughter is in 6th grade and doesn’t need many supplies now. She has expensive taste though wanting all name brand clothes 😅. She had to have converse high tops this year.
I remember when converse were $29.99. I feel really old seeing prices for them 😂
Ross, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Burlington, will all be your best friends. Even Goodwill has tons of name brand clothes. My little mostly wears Jordan/Nike. I shop at Goodwill, a local consignment store, Ross and so on. 😉 It doesn't have to break the bank to make the kids feel special with their name brands.

My kids went back to school today, it’s so crazy how fast summer went by. I remember being a kid and always wanting a new backpack each school year and now as a parent I understand why my parents said to just reuse my backpack lol 😂
Back to school already 😮 We can't do that hear in AZ. The kids would have heat stroke walking home. August is bad enough.

It’s so hot, my kids take the bus, but i still have to drive them to the bus stop because it’s half a mile away down our street and it’s way too hot to walk. I do like that they’re in school rather than being stuck inside at home bored, but I do feel for those who have to walk, that is just too hot 🥵
@@ThisBlessedMess Kids go back to school this early in SanTan Valley? That's insane, especially with this heat wave. I live in Central Phoenix. As far as I know all the schools out this way start in August. Most of the kids where I live walk and the school is almost a mile away. I couldn't imagine. But, I totally get wanting them to go back to school 😂

@@crystalsaiz5248 oh man I’m sorry! No ac is rough. Yeah here they do a modified year round school year so summers are a bit shorter, but they get more breaks during the school year, like longer fall, winter and spring breaks and then they get out around the 3rd week of may

You might consider writing their names in their shoes. I say shoes because when they are at PE they might have to take them off for an activity.

Serious question how do you keep stains off the kids clothes. My girls are known for spilling all sorts of things on there clothes.
I use shout. I spray it on, rub it in, let it sit for 5 minutes, then throw it in the washer.

once my children got older, I only washed underwear, pajamas and bathing suits before they wore them
I always wash everything because people have been trying them on in stores and it makes the clothes softer and smell better. 😊
