Schuh are giving £5 vouchers when you bring in any old pair of shoes/trainers to be recycled, you don’t have to have bought the old ones from schuh.

I love the Petit Fernand labels as last so well and don’t come off. My son is in primary school and I label everything including his pens and pencils lol I love stationary too x love these types of videos and stationary ones

Love you vlogs Emma, my boy is starting year 1 and last year I got everything from Sainsburys apart from a couple of tops with school logo and cargo shorts from Tesco as my boy will wear shorts until December 😂. This year I haven’t bothered with school logo tops but got majority from sainsburys again. I don’t rate their shoes but that is possibly just because my son decided to use his shoes as brakes for his scooter rather than using the actual brake🙈 In the end I had to buy him some expensive geox shoes with a rubber toe protection🙈. I like to wash it all before first use. Can I just say that I really enjoy your vlogs and your cosy home, I feel like I’m with a good friend when I watch your vlogs xx❤

We live in Warrington, and they do a fantastic job at the Warrington Food Bank, collecting uniform and then having a free shop... So anyone who needs uniform can go there and get it. Well Done Warrington Foodbank! I know that one of the primary schools asked for any used school shoes that were still in good condition and so they had like 150 pairs of school shoes go from there. I'm really proud of the High School I work at too... for the last 2 years, they've allowed pupils to have a non-uniform day (this is the only one we have ALL year!) on their last day if they bring in all of their uniform that they don't need. Then they run a very very cheap uniform shop a number of times through the summer holidays...

Love this vids, I have six kids but never buy so much each. Only have a jumper each and couple skirts/shirts but then I'm washing multiple times a day 🤣🤣🤣

We're back to school on 28th August so not much time left, trying not to panic! There's also no school uniform here in Belgium so I have to label EVERYTHING 😮💨 I use Easy2Name for my labels, they do equipment labels and dog-tags for their school bags too 🙂

How lovely are the iron on and sticky labels. We didn’t have them when my kids were small . All you could get were Cash sew on labels and some you could order from M&S. it was a job I absolutely hated in fact I’m having flash backs.
Yeah my Mum used to sew on hundreds!

I believe Clark’s do adults and kids measures that you can purchase online, Start rite also sell foot measures. A lot of local food banks will take uniform too.

My son starts reception in September 😮 he only did half days at nursery so big change for him! I'm nervous about everything to be honest and I loved the tip about pictures on his labels! Any tips from anyone much appreciated ❤️

How much of each item would you recommend for going into foundation? So far we've got 6 polos, 4 trousers, 2 jumpers (3 if you count the bigger sized one)
I’m not sure what foundation is. But that sounds fab! I find the jumpers are the thing that get the utter dirtiest!
Rule is label everything. Shoes even when older the amount of them at PE that cant find their shoes and they are on someone elses feet. They is stamps now which are great just stamp and go dont come off like sharpie but look nicer than handwriting

Yay up u popped just as I had the sinking feeling creeping up on me so l9vely to watch I'm goin away 21 till 31 so will have about 4 days to sort out xxhool stuff yikes when j get back so so hate it I ain't gonna lie lol I got one now movin to yr 6 and the other yr 10 crazy and my 2nd oldest has left now venturing into college I hate change I'm so used to routine not no more sadly dizzy with it o well yet by some medical we plod through ❤

American here with a couple of questions. Does your girl have to wear tights year round? And a blazer? What about when its warm out? And the socks, are those knee socks? What if a child has sensory issues and is unable to wear these? I'm so invested in something that will never effect us 😂
Tights when it’s cold. Blazer unless it’s very hot. You don’t have to wear knee socks. Can be any so dependant on the child. She can also wear trousers if she wants!

There will be no buying school uniform in the high street shops anymore. You will need to go to the dedicated School Shop to buy their uniform with the school logo on .
Start saving up now for it as it does cost a lot more !

Yes the two of them both will be. As she already is! We don't need to go to a dedicated school shop thankfully. Bar the blazer and a couple of PE bits we can get them from anywhere x

Then when she left I gave the uniform all back to the school so under priverlidge kids could were them .

I think it's 'couch to 5k' - as in being able to sit on the couch to be able to run 5k. Love your phrase though, please keep saying it like this 😊

I think it’s boys my twins have a jumper and trousers etc for each day I’ve got everything now but the school shoes which I Leave till last bin London all primary children get free lunches so no packed lunches your lucky with Erin my teens trainers were 120 pounds 😮

I now love seeing my grandchildrens first day back i always get pictures two of children are the same age as your children i usually do their iorning the clothes have got biggr now so takes me a bit longer lol 🤗🌞🫶
