One of the most beautiful songs...evokes so many feels. My childhood was all the more magical because of the Disney Renaissance movies. Jodi Benson's voice is gorgeous.
When I was little I thought her dad was the bad guy for not letting her go to the human world but now I understand that he didn't want her to be taken from him like his wife was. The pirates killed his wife so he must have thought all humans were evil and he did it out of fear.
You know that moment when you go to a knew place and you turn into ariel just like LOOK AT THIS STUFF ISNT IT NEAT?! And your parents are like you have enough stuff at home then here comes the ariel in you I WANT MORE!!!!
I noted two places that need correction: "BRIGHT YOUNG WOMEN" sick of swimmin' Explore that "SHORE" up above. At least that's what it sounded like to me. IJS
Because this song embodies things that we want that are unattainable. Ariel got lucky because she had magic in her world. We don't get that chance. While she's up on the shore laughing and dancing, we're still under the water, looking up and hoping.
I can't stop singing this song and I can't stop playing that song but don't worry I'm not the only one is people out there who listening to the song for example my sister
