Yeah my bad should have said mostly instrumental. I tend to zone out the talking and focus on the instruments instead. But you're dead on about this album being held in high regard. Every song from this album is incredible. Glad yous enjoyed!
Lol, it’s definitely an instrumental just like “To Live Is To Die” This gets better and better the more I listen to it. When that riff kicks in and it finally drops after the intro is pure 🔥 I can just loop that part over and over again. Thanks for the recommendation man and of course for the support! Looking forward to the next one! 🤘

Their Ashes and Wrath albums are pure works of art...lyrically as well.

I got this album when it came out in HS and was addicted to it, still one of my top 5 metal albums of all time, the voice is from a court thing from a real US marine, I don't remember the exact thing it's from but this whole album is kinda about the war in the middle east.

🤣 🤣 🤣 LoG is the beat metal band of all time. There isn't really bad song on any album that isn't fire. Omerta is a must. Wrath is my personal favorite album. Heck out ruin, vigil for old...512, memento mori for new...wall with me in hell. Grace for Instrumental. Blackened the cursed sun
Omerta and Laid to Rest are the crunchiest songs on this album

You should react to the other ashes of the wake, pre-production demo official music audio, it has no guitar solos but it was still raw and cleaner than this one.

Lamb of god one of the best live bands i ever seen.. seen Pantera 5 times before dimbag died.. is nothing
RIP to my brothers in Iraq. This album was controversial when it came out, basically calling out the Iraq war saying it was unnecessary. Everyone was patriotic then and any anti-war stuff was hated. Turns out they were pretty right. Our government was lying to us about our cause of being there, no nuclear weapons for example.. The statement from the beginning and ending was from an actual marine with experience during OIF

Lamb of God was one of the first bands that solidified my love of metal. I’d never heard anything like ‘em, they definitely belong on the Mount Rushmore of bands. 🤘🏼✌🏼
