Wow people, these podcasts are very informative and inspirational. I'm surprised so little interaction from viewers and so little people actually liking the great podcasts of this past year. I wish I found this podcast sooner, you guys are amazing. Keep it up.

I keep it in my mind,I only have so much time, and I'm going to enjoy it and hunting is one that has a limited time frame.

    Ten steps at a time.
My body hurts with every step.
Just hiking, when you want to turn around, sit down, take ten minutes. Ten steps, take ten. Go thru your gear and get rid of the crap you never use.
Herbal pain killers like mugwort and valerian root. Instead of coffee, pack green tea. I pack both.
    Walk ten take ten.
For me, its shaking that city vibe. Once you're back on track with natural time, coming back to the pavement is the worst.

What drives me is thinking the question, "what will i miss if i do quit now?" And another trick i learned in the infantry is when your in a crappy situation just tell yourself, "well it could be worse." BTW havent been on youtube in awhile and really happy to see your still grinding out videos Brian!

Awesome information to think about. I never have enough time on a hunt and also a lot of times get frustrated and leave early. Not no more!!

I find it interesting having more regular contact with your family and how makes it easier for you. I personally have the opposite effect. After I talk to my wife I start getting home sick. I try not to contact home until I only have a day or to left. Maybe it is because I only do one or two 11 day hunts a year. I am definitely not saying you are wrong, just it has the opposite effect for me personally. Another insightful video, thank you.

When you have someone with you, you can push each other. No one wants to quit on someone. For me, it's the solo trips around day 4. Getting lonely, honestly.

Long term carnivore here. Just a suggestion, keep trace amounts of ruffage in your diet,. Not enough to stop ketosis, just a bite here and there, a little potato peel, a few bites of spinach or kale. If you don't, you're gut microbiome will change to the point where you will be incapable of digesting anything but meat and fat without feeling sick. I know you guys forage for mushrooms and such, wouldn't want to lose that.

Our lives have become pretty easy with everything being so convenient. Man needs to be pushed mentally and physically in order to stay sharp.

Hey fellas, can you sell a flag for people to hang in garage gyms that says “It’s Just Work.” And/or “Some Men Can, Some Men Can’t”?

TRT is medical treatment for when testosterone is chronically below normal levels. TRT treatment only restores T levels to natural levels-there’s no enhancement. My testosterone levels are actually quite minimal compared to most men. You really don’t know what you’re talking about. I’m not offended by your comment-it’s like saying, “some men need to eat healthy and get their vitamins and exercise and then we won’t quit.” Feel free to make up any and all excuses for your shortcomings and failures. My only excuse is me. Perhaps you have low T and that’s why you’re acting like a b%tch. I recommend getting some bloodwork done to see where you’re at. Might actually improve your health and overall life.

@@GrittyGearAndPodcastlol 😂 men over 50 usually need some replacement to stay healthy. I’m not a fan of getting it at a younger age tho my dad is suffering from the side effects of taking t replacement since his 30’s. He has to get large amounts of his blood taken out every month or so because some level of something in his red blood cells are high and can cause stroke. I talked to his np and that’s what she told me causes it. Taking trt for too long 😂. I’m not a doctor but that’s as much as I can remember. Low t levels is bad for you tho
