I am a 21 y.o. revert and am struggling with haram addictions I started them before practicing and it has been what has been keeping me from practicing because I can’t stop. For the sake of Allah I tried leaving them last ramadan and am trying to fight them to leave them completely till this day. I even went to a clinic and after the whole course I still fell back into bad habits. It is difficult for me and it is destroying me, please make dua for me I am desperate.

I don’t want to condone the bad addictions you are having trouble with. But I will say this: this struggle is the life of a believer. If its not these addictions, it will be something more fundamental such as being greedy and working more and more for worldly gains rather than worshipping or working on getting our children more ‘Islamic’ for a lack of a better word.
Your struggle is worthy of having. Life in this world is nothing more than a struggle. Get used to it. Know this, we will either die struggling or die living/enjoying an ignorant life.

I want to point out at 49:48, تعرف الى الله في الرخاء يعرفك في الشدة، the translation of the phrase’s order was reversed, ‘come to know Allah at a time of ease, Allah will come to know you at a time of difficulty’.
Which is important and is relative for Muslims who are at ease.

49:48 Guys there is a mistake., he said "Know Allah in the times of difficulty, and Allah will know you in the times of ease" but the Hadith said know Allah in the times of ease, and Allah will remember you in the time of difficulty. Just a human mistake but needs to be clarified, just incase people misunderstand it

I have so much faith for Allah and I'm not scared of anything except for two things:
1. I'm scared that I might be lied to.
2. I'm scared of being judged by Allah even though I did so much good
I’m having trouble keeping up with my prayers brothers (I pray late or miss it sometimes) as I either have work to do or am close to sleeping how do I make praying my daily prayers like it’s my second nature?

When you start to fall behind on your prayers, try and remember that you could die at any minute. Imagine thinking, oh okay I'll pray tomorrow, and then you don't pray and you keep saying, 'It's okay, I'll pray tomorrow', and Allah decides to take you that night? Death is around the corner, we don't know when it will pounce but we pray to Allah to give us a chance so that we may be prepared. I struggle keeping up with my prayers however, whenever I fall behind or miss a whole lot of prayers, I feel like I'm letting Allah down and ask Him for another chance. Stay strong, don't let the Shaytaan win.

I use to be in the same spot brother inshallah once you increase in your Iman it will become very easy read about the hereafter and the paradise and hellfire read about the grave and it's situation read about Prophet Muhammad SAW and his life style do dhikr love Allah SWT by attaching yourself to the Quran and the mosques increase in Good deeds and stay away from Bad deeds cuz they are a very big reason for weakness in Iman and taqwa and God constant forgiveness ask him to guide you and help you wake up and pray cuz Allah SWT with his unimaginable mercy will always answer your guidance dua for you

When covid started to spread in 2020, and there was emergency regulation that people (men) can no longer visit masjid for jama'a (including jumma) prayer. There was time when they were allowed to do salah jama'a, but with distance (which is against the sunnah). And two times Eid ul fitr was very quiet (no visits). That was the saddest time I've ever felt in entire 45 years of my life. Truly sad times. Felt so lonely, even though Islam is majority in my country (Indonesia). Alhamdulillah the regulation is slowly lifted, and people come to masjids again like normal times. Mashaa Allah..
I can't even start to imagine how my brothers and sisters of Islam who live in Muslim-minority countries feel, especially during the time..
Just.. hope it won't happen again, ya Allah..

I agree that now we are living in akhirul zaman. But I do more agree with Sheikh Imran N. Hosein's view about the signs of akhirul zaman. Some of them are literaly and the others are unliteraly, or in the Quran language there are muhkamat and mutasyabihat.

the 2 raka'at before maghrib is one of the shalat sunnah ghairu mu'akkad which is also encouraged but not as much (because the prophet SAW did this occasionaly) as the shalat sunnah mu'akkad like the 2 raka'at after maghrib, 2 raka'at after isya etc..
