@Joe O'Donnell ...I would definitely recommend it.It is a great bike for the bike park,free-ride and some DH.Very stable and jumps awesome as well.It is not a cross country bike though :)
Thanks man, I'm looking into getting a DH bike and saw this bikes price and thought it was almost too good to be true but from what I've seen it can handle itself
Yo, sick video dude! should I get the toxin? I'm currently riding the Norco Shinobi and Aurum, btw you should check out kenora ontario, we've got great trails here!
+james noll It all depends on what you want to do.The Toxin is more of a park bike and the helion is a shorter travel xc/trail bike. The toxin won't be anywhere near as pedal friendly. So if your into riding your local trails and going for longer hauls with uphill climbs mixed with some nice descents, choose the helion. If your looking for a park bike to jump, drop and rip berms, choose the Toxin.Hope that helps and thanks for watching the channel :)
Outdoor New England hey man thx for the quick responce and like the chanel the trails from my house are about 5 miles away and the have jumps nad brems and drop off also found the gt verb tought to decide
how does this bike climb? I know its not a climber but just wondering if its more DH or if its closer to an eduro bike. living in the midwest there isnt much for DH and there is quite a few single track trails around.. but this video looks fun and we do have some ski hills that have biking in the summer... just wondering how it would do on those single tracks or if its too unbearable to pedal.
It's mainly meant for gravity driven riding. In my opinion it is all in the gearing you choose.you can get this bike to climb pretty well with the right setup.I currently run a 1 x 10 setup with a 32 tooth ring in the front and it does well.Keep in mind though, this is not a cross country rig and it excels when pointed downhill.
cody mag They are riding the pathogen and I am on the toxin. The one I ride is the same as the Complete white Toxin.Except I built mine frame up with the frame-set.Hope this helps :)
Hey man, I am at a cross-roads, I love this bike, and I really want one. But, I want to ride downhill with it, like actual downhill. How would it be? Would i be alright? I would ride it at a bike park and only organized trails, what do you think? Should I buy it? Also if anyone else wants to answer please feel free I need help because I love this bike but i don't know if i should buy it or save up for a dual crown DH. Thanks!
Ben Battista This bike is killer and seriously bombs stuff. It is 7 inches of travel front and back.Airborne also offers an 8 inch travel frame more oriented towards what you want to do with it.Made just for a dual crown and full on DH.To answer your question truthfully ...this bike is a park bike and not a full on DH rig...but there is nothing stopping you from slapping a dual crown on it ;) Let me know what you decide to go with. here is the link to airborne's site..so you can check out your options :) www.airbornebicycles.com
Outdoor New England Thank you for the reply. I see that you have videos of you at bike parks, this is where I would be riding this bike mainly. How would i make out? Would I be ok?
The Folks in the beginning of the video are on a team.I myself am a beginner and not part of a team.Once you start riding ritually you will find like minded people and possibly build your own team :)
