Black chick from the south here who is also in recovery. I appreciated the conversation about race. Genuine and very much our reality. With sprinkles of belly laughs in between. Theo and BS, keep being bringers of light and love! xo
You're gorgeous!
I wonder what you think about what he said about redheads in my life that seems to be true redheads are usually the biggest wigs ever?
Stay strong.💪
One day at a time baby girl 💪❤️🙏
I had a girlfriend named Taylor Stewart. Took my virginity. She wasn’t as beautiful as you though lmao. This was a great conversation
Dude my family was poor as f. and one day i got computer speakers for Christmas and the first song I played on loop was "UGLY". Thank you for bringing Bubba here. Much love from Poland!
That’s dope 🤘🏼
lolololololololol
Yooo what’s good from Texas. @potheadchimp
Produced by Timbaland from VA,USA ♥️🇺🇸
i took a walllllllllk to poland
My heart. I absolutely love this episode yall. I've been in Recovery from Opiates for almost 4 years. I was chained to them for over 11 years of my life. For anyone out there struggling, just know you can get well, we DO recover
the universe blessed you as it blessed me 🙏 gratitude for another day
Congrats on 4yrs! That's awesome. Keep going, and I'll keep chasing. From a brother in recovery
Hell yeah!! Good on u for being and staying strong
Same, 16 years for me. Almost 4 years clean now, went from a week away from losing my car, apartment, wife and job to having 2 brand new cars, bills paid, one year in brand new house 3200 Sq ft. 7 years at job making 6 figures now and lost 75lbs. Those pills stole almost 2 decades of my life and income. At peak I was taking 14 a day at 40 bucks each. Every penny I had went to them .
Felt yr comment, I beginning my sobriety journey. Thank you 👍🏼👁️
Why is Bubba Sparx giving me goosebumps on a Tuesday on my lunch break?
A great example of an intelligent and humble dude just really trying to be himself and be the best version he can be, but with a struggle anyone can relate to. What a solid dude.
Because you dont interact with people outside your small bubble, i guess.
Incredible conversation. Bubba has always been one of the most genuine and real folks I’ve been lucky to meet in this industry.
Theo is a national treasure man. Doesn't matter who he has on, just has the most genuine conversation being himself.
He's a worldwide treasure...I only wish him and Mike Perry/ Rif Raff had a podcast where they interviewed people together.
"because if i'm comin off pills i wanna pet somethin" god I love Theo 😂
Nothing like a 2 hour long Theo podcast let’s gooo!
#letsstopletsgo
@@jimmyjunk8498 Yeah, that and “no cap.”
I feel like we are going to get more of this from Theo since he’s no longer having to carry other podcasters on his back. Now he gets to focus solely on his own stuff!! Gang !!
This podcast is quickly becoming one of the best for informing young men the true way to live life
Theo is genuine, he tries to connect personally, not just put on some false persona
simp
@@Konfide4043 who hurt u bro 🤣
Oh cool and good to know, where'd you meet him? I've been listening tpw for years and I wouldn't claim to know the real him
@@opticalcanine I've met him a few times after comedy shows and Theo really is a genuinely nice guy. I've only had 4 interactions with him but every time he was happy to take pictures, shake hands, and just shoot the breeze for a few mins with the people who were still hanging around. He seemed excited to meet his fans, and didnt seem like it was a hassle or a bother to him at all. Plus bro, seeing that mullet in person is something else!!!! Lol

I can't describe how much I relate to you, theo. The honesty helps more than you'll ever know.
Congratulations you have been selected among my lucky winners Dm to claim your prize🎁
This is better than I thought it would be, didn't know bubba was so deep. I wanna see Theo, Bubba, and Riff Raff all together, make it happen Theo!!!!
No Paul Wall?
That sounds like a dope ass tour waiting to happen
This wasn’t an interview…this was an organic and genuine conversation. Much love and respect to both of these gentlemen
Ohhhh this is gonna be packed with Nostalgia. Thanks for having this dude on.
I always loved bubbas music, now I love him as a person. That's what's great about podcasts like this..
Bubba: "I used to tell girls I was the white member of The Dungeon Family"
Theo: "like the accountant or something"
I spit my cereal everywhere 😆 🤣 😂
😭🤣🤣🤣
He was like "noooooo!" Lol the white rapper!
Gold!!! 😂
Tom Corleone?
Listening to Bubba and Theo talking about opiates and suboxone feels so surreal to me. I’ve been an opiate addict for 10 years now with almost 3 years clean thanks to suboxone. A lot of people do make the argument “swapping one addiction for another” but I tell you one thing, my life has done a complete 180° thanks to suboxone. There’s a huge difference living that opiate life, always dope sick, always looking for ways to make money to get your fix while your tolerance is constantly growing, getting ripped off by people, interacting with sketchy people who take your money and make you wait for hours, sometimes you’d end up in some trap house and end up doing even more drugs. Now I don’t have to interact with ANYTHING that comes with that lifestyle. I go to the pharmacy every two weeks and do a monthly drug test at the clinic. I’m a mother now, my days don’t look like they used to at all. Also, most the people I used to buy off or hang with are dead or gone and I wouldn’t be able to get my hands on pills even if I wanted to. Bottom line, waking up to my laughing children beats waking up to being dopesick any day.
happy for you Karissa 🙏🏼 i’m still on my journey
Good for you. The most difficult part of opioid addiction for me is the psychological aspect. I can't get the notion out of my head of not having opiates by my side when I need them (for social anxiety, insomnia, etc.). The thought of not having the option to 'feel better' scares the fucking hell out of me.
I've got a similiar story, I was on methadone but it wasn't the answer fir me and I got off that and in poppy seed tea for years...however that became it's own problem for years and years...the finally kratom got me out of my slump for almost 3years. I did relapse on poppy seeds for awhile but I got the kratom back into me now. I require it or will go through withdrawl, but it beats the struggle of chasing that high like you say
Subs has given me a life that I never could have had when I was addicted. It's kept me going for 6 years and now I have a wife and 2 kids, so don't pay attention to the people saying it's swapping one addiction for the other. I've lost many friends to opiates and have many more that are still around today thanks to Subs. It's a savior
I was doin nothing spending money and sleeping on couch then I got on subs and got a great job pay for everything and support my family
Bubba is a really well spoken and clearly high IQ guy. This was so relatable to me on many levels. Im 43 and don't have kids and 3 years off dope and just now starting to come back down to earth. Just this past year I've really started to look at the big picture in life and thinking about other things besides ducking the police and getting my fix. I really feel better every time I finish this pod. Gang Gang
This was a much needed conversation. Plus I’m glad I finally got to hear Bubba’s story, and his struggles. I see a lot of myself in him.
Theo with the content nobody knew we wanted but everything we needed. Man now I'm on a nostalgia spiral of BS songs!

@@G_____ ‘twas the morning of lit reminiscence
yo bubba im 27 years old from Illinois and a year sober now but i appreciate you being here i learned alot from you.
Dark days bright nights was a classic. Bubba K is underrated as a lyricist.
That's a sick name for an album
Bubba dropping the Ricky Bobby reference is an absolute gem.
Theo always blessing our Tuesday’s
I love how Theo keeps bringing on musicians. Keep it up! Also, please come play Utah some day
I 2nd that. Shoutout Utah lol
Yo I met bubba about 10 years ago. Cool as fuck. Talked to him for about 10 minutes. Really humble. Was asking me questions the same as I was asking him. And seemed like it was because he really wanted to hear it , not just to be nice.
Super cool dude
seems like a chill dood
Maybe you are just a really cool and interesting guy
Same I've met him TWICE down here in Florida . He was genuinely interested in hearing my story such a solid ass dude..!!
“Humility is the truest understanding of self” that’s deep. I humiliated myself in front of all my friends and family this past weekend and I feel I know myself more after that happening.
So hype for this one. Appreciated the connection between country and hip-hop and Bubba’s honesty. Theo also peeled some layers from himself-awesome all around
Bubba Sparxxx has always been an inspiration. He featured on one of my songs, which blew my mind as an unknown artist in Montana. Love your podcast Theo
thats dope lol
Theo brings the energy and brings out such great stories out of his guests such a pleasure to listen!
😂😂😂 Theo on Atlanta: “It’s like February started its own city over there”
Caught that
Theo and Bubba laughing at their wiki pictures had me cracking up!!! This episode was pure entertainment gold and a good therapy session all wrapped up in one. No matter how bad of a day I'm having, the Rat King can always put a smile on my face lol. Gang 😁
mad shout out to bubba, my childhood right there
So cool of Theo to bring on Bubba. Bruh when Bubba came out he was my favorite rapper for a minute! Immm on the Runnn... Ive benn running for some time now.. my time has come... I think I'll turn myself in now.. thank you Bubba.
When Theo said "Whoop that trick" I fucking died. So funny. Loved this interview.
I just want you both to know, I love you both. Y'all are an inspiration to me as I'm on my own recovery journey. It's been a tough, long road but hearing stories from people that have and are going through it, keep me going! Thank you for sharing!
"Like some secret drywall" Hahaha Theo is pure gold
Honestly the best podcast I’ve ever heard. Parenthood and addiction is extremely relatable.
If he doesn’t start his own podcast after this I’ll be damned. I could listen to him talk all day. I’ve laughed OUT LOUD and cried all in two hours. Theo always has me 😂😢😂😢
Same!!💓
Just love how Theo can facilitate interesting and honest conversation with plenty of laughs in between. One of a kind
This man wanted to speak, and we loved listening.
“People don’t seek information they seek affirmation.” That was poetic genius from Bubba
I love your podcast.. I look forward to it every week.. it helps me know I'm not the only one who been through something.. thank you for helping me not be alone.

Love me some Bubba Sparxxx!! I used to sing Ms. New Booty whenever I changed my kids diapers when they were babies. So many memories that came flooding back.
For anyone like me who is struggling with addiction, this episode is gold. These are two guys who clearly have been humbled.
Yeah when he said

Deliverance is one of my all time favorites. Gang gang.

Oh Theo. Thank you! I’m 10 days away from 3 years sober from meth. I currently work in my a detox and have been to hundreds of meetings. This podcast has had some of the best insight and relatability of any recovery related thing I’ve heard. So again thank you
I remember being at an outdoor concert, Bubba was performing. And mid performance someone in the audience threw a beer bottle at his head... Their aim was on point, but his reflexes were even more on point!... He ducked it mid sentence and kept performing!.. Great show, but that made it even better 🤘😆🤘
AWESOME SHOW theo!!! Bubba is the man. I put hundreds if not thousands of miles on my extended cab s10 with 20s and 2 kicker comp 12s bumping Bubba. Loved that Era for sure. Things ain't the same. Addiction struggles here too. We all have a story. Some worse than others. Keep pushing foward and try to stay positive. Gang gang beotch
Yeah theo keeps elevating to the next level. He always brings the out of his guest. Bubba was so unexpected. And what theo said is true, there is still no one that sounds like him, incredible interview
Thoroughly enjoyed this whole convo. Thanks Theo and Mr Sparxx
I love everything Theo does and Bubba is an interesting guy. However, I feel like I'm trapped in a Trailer Park Boys episode with J-Roc and "nomesayin"
5 mins in a thought that too and had to see if someone else noticed
Why you countin his nomesayins? You taking a nomecensus?
Brooooo someone needs to count how many times he said that shit. Started to drive me crazy
@@harper_243 i was trying to be a good listener but i had to pause and take a break it was annoying me so much

I just listened to this on Spotify and came here to comment how amazing that interview was, and how it was not what I expected it to be. Best pod convo I have heard in a min… maybe one of my all times…
Bubba is a real one...that deliverance was a hitter. Gang
Started a whole genre & none of em fucks with it.....
I grew up in LaGrange and went to the same high school as Bubba. He used to come back and give inspirational speeches to all of us encouraging us to follow our dreams. He never forgot troup county ❤

In reference to blacks being natural taste makers - "i feel like you can PUNCH a black guy & a cool sound comes out! " 🤣🤣🤣 omg, i died laughing!
Who would’ve thought a podcast with Bubba Sparxxx would be the best one of the week. Theo you are the man
I cannot see it in myself (that is why I am here) but I watch these two and I see the beauty of the human spirit. Just like when I watch Soft White Underbelly, the child heart shines through (our heart is the time traveler). Heaven will be all the people I have loved, seeing them happy & healthy with love. Bubba you are so beautiful and a poet.
You’d probably like the channel special books by special kids!
Lil Boosie, Riff Raff, Bubba Sparxx. All legends from my childhood have come thru here lol Theo is the GOAT
Let's make this trend higher, wow what an honest, informative and still funny episode this was today. This is something a lot of people especially men need to hear. Bubba is a legend and people can relate in so many aspects holy moly yall knocked it out the park with this one 🤜🤛
