I absolutely love Chance's voice, and any time I get to hear Adam Rupp is wonderful. I love this song. Not many people react to this one. I'm so glad you did .thanks
I love this one! I kind of reminds me of Goodnight Moon by Shivaree. Anyone who hasn't seen Adam Chance's new version of Leave Her, Johnny needs to go right now and watch it. It is truly stunning!
I believe Adam Rupp plays bass guitar in this. I LOVE this song by Chance; basically, I love everything he does. This song has a western feel- belongs in a Clint Eastwood movie.
I love my guys, Adam Chance is so interesting. He always chooses the off beat, fun songs. I love this with Mercy Bell and Adam Rupp doing the background beats too. Jillian, I hear that bluesy note too- so creative for this cover!
I listened to this song the other day & really liked it. I had not heard the original before by The Handsome Family. Mercy Bell has a haunting voice. I think Adam Rupp is making a lot of the cool background sounds. Looking forward to hearing more of Adam Chance's new music.
Boy, Rupp was great. Loved Chance and Mercy. Never heard that song before. It certainly did seem like it came out of an old western. Chance has had a lot of leads…I Can’t Outrun You, Helplessly Hoping, Yours, Cover Me Up, Some Girls Do and others. He’s getting his share and I love his voice. 🤩😃
No singing from Adam. But he does play the "Santana" guitar and do the percussion and effects. I love this, but it took me a few listens to get there. And, is it just me, or is this about a scorpion??? And just a note - it's Adam Bass-teen.
Sorry a day late, out of town. This sounded great. Even though he’s totally country, every time l picture a singer like Dean Martin with a short glass of bourbon in his hand! Such a smooth sound with a little bit of rasp. You are right ninja, she fit this type of song perfectly. Sounds great guys. Low bass Kenneth
Love this song! Adam Rupp provided the rattle snake sound and lots of other ones. I pictured them standing in Joshua Tree National Parks with tumble weed rolling by in the wind. I hope they do a video some day.
I love the picture you both paint of the scene, especially with Jillian as the sheriff. I love a good Western too, and this song could definitely be used for that. What a great collaboration with the smooth voice of Chance, the unique sounds of Rupp and the beautiful voice of Mercy. Thanks for such a great afternoon! 🎶 Cyd
I love this song, downloaded it as soon as he released it. It’s kinda dark, how did he die? But rising with whatever spirit she represents is beautiful. Adam Rupp did all those sounds, plus he was the bass player.
Bass-teen. HOME FREE posted a new video of BASS-TEEN's 1st weekend. Even his debut at the OPRY! 😮 Y'all gotta see it. & you can hear Tim say his name. I think hes fitting in perfectly! ❤❤
Chance's voice just takes me away. Adam Rupp doesn't sing on this. I adore Chance and can't wait for his album. Mercy sounds great in this.
Chance plays the guitar, Rupp does sound effects, no singing. Sami, Chance’s wife, took the song cover picture at Joshua Tree. Love this song!
Rupp's bass, beatboxing, and nomonica add so much atmosphere to this.

Much of Chance’s music gets mixed and/or mastered by Reilly (The Hound and The Fox)
This is so good to know, thank you Dianne!

Chance’s voice makes me melt……
I, personally, love this! Was this used for a movie theme!!! Deserts are haunting!

This is a great mix of talents. Rupp bending that bass guitar was so bluesy. Mercy has such a rich voice.

So sorry you are having such bad luck hang in there.
Thanks, Gail! Things are looking up, friend!

Loved this. Enjoy your reactions. 🎼🦋🎶❤️🎵
Adam Rupp doesn't sing here.
We learned towards the end. Thanks, Karon!
I love this! It's the best thing Chance has done IMO
