And so our Roving reporter and Record Fair correspondent Beatle Dave brings us news of Bargains from the AA Record Fair at The Salt Box Cafe in Nottingham. Great video Dave, and may I congratulate your good lady wife on her purchases and on her musical taste. Do my eyes deceive me or did you purchase yet another copy of the White Album? So sorry I couldn't make it to Notts today. The next Record Fair in Derby and we will have to meet up, do some crate diggin' and have a cuppa. I have to say a lot of the stuff featured on the vid was going for very reasonable prices indeed. Looking forward to more of your out and about video's in the future. Peace n Love to you guys and enjoy your records and the rest of your weekend.
Hiya Terry, thanks for your lovely comments and continued support, very much appreciated, it was a fabulous fair, spent too much as always, 😆, lol, but got some lovely items, will probably be doing a video later today on what we got, take care, cheers, Dave
Very cool Love Record Fairs - far too few where I live. Cross fingers Locomotion doesn't hit copy right - the booming bass might be enough to throw it. Thanks to you & Sue for sharing.
It was a great fair, really enjoyed it, and the prices were very good, glad you enjoyed the video and thank you for your comments, much appreciated, cheers, Dave
Yes, but I actually nearly brought another 2 copies, Lol, glad you enjoyed this video, there's another video coming later today showing what records we brought, thank you for your comments much appreciated, cheers, Dave
Are there many 45s at these fairs, as seems to be LP based? There are Nottm fairs at Belgrave Rooms on Goldsmith St on 3/3,4/5,7/9 and 2/11. I have no connection but was sent a leaflet. Think they are in the spirit of the bank holliday fairs that used to be at YMCA.
Thank you for your comments and information, there was a lot of singles at the fair, lot's of different styles, it was a fabulous fair to attend, and the prices were very good, cheers, Dave
Dave, those crates on that first stall looked jam packed with goodies. Seems better than the last record fair I went to. It was like being immersed in virtual reality walking around with you and having a good old dig. How did you find the prices?
Hiya, the prices were very reasonable, to be honest, records from around £1 upwards, the ones I bought were mainly around £10-£15 each but there were records there for £100s, really enjoyed it, first one I've been to this year, nice to hear from you, hope you are well, thank you for your comments, I gave you a shout out the other day, take care my friend, cheers, Dave
Great video Dave! We were there too (found ourselves on your video).
