Oh that sun peeking through the trees was absolutely lovely! I’m really grateful that you put these videos up every day. I’m a bit behind with my watching, but that just means that I I watch several episodes one after another while I enjoy my quiet morning cup of coffee and work to finish up my latest pair of socks. Until the next one. Salam wa sa’aadah
Your Nuts and Bolts looks just like the Chex mix I got from a friend in Maine, near Calais, about 50 years ago. It’s a tradition that I make it for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I’ve started making it with the gluten free Chex cereals and GF pretzels. And I’m planning to try the lemon curd. And yes, sheets hung outside do smell so nice! Thanks for this!😊
Nuts and Bolts! I've not had (nor have I made) those in years.. They were called that because the prezels were straight sticks. The recipe is older than the seventies. My mother made it when I was a kid in the sixties (I'm 72); she may have got it from Chatelaine magazine back in the day. It was made with Cheerios, Shreddies and the stick-shaped pretzels back then -- Chex hadn't been invented yet; those came later. 🙂
I vote for all the stickers!! Nuts and Bolts is Chex Mix at our house. I put my goo in a squirt bottle to get more even distribution on the dry ingredients. I saved your lemon curd recipe last year. So yummy!!
Agree. The only time I can sit still for any great length is when I am knitting. I find it calming. Love your xmas vlogs. Look forward to it everyday. ❤Too much for the phone case. 😊
Yum, the nuts and bolts look delicious! I’ve so enjoyed my time knitting this year. I made my very first pair of socks back in May and have been hooked ever since. I’ve just completed my 11th pair. I used your Tittygaga pattern and absolutely love how they turned out. They knitted up so fast! I hope your neck doesn’t give you jip for too much longer 😊
Very busy and productive day for you👍👏🌞. I applaud you for keeping on, Nancy ❣️. I sincerely sympathize with you and your neck misery!! I keep hearing you say that the massage therapist really beats you up 😮😕! Sometimes... 🥴
Thankfully the neck is back to normal with some gentle stretching and rest. My massage therapist offered to fit me in for a treatment, but I just wanted to let it heal 🤓
❤❤good morning ,,,, Hoping ur neck is better,,,, You got alot done,,,, Great to watch vlogs while you bake or clean,,,🎉🎉 Love one or two stickers,,, ELAINE 🏡💕
I have been gluten free for close to 20 years now because I was in so much pain that I could barely function. It took virtually all the pain away for many years.thenabout 5 years ago, it came back. Around that time I shrunk my diet to being gluten free/Keto to be moral support for my husband who needed to be keto to clear up a health condition. It worked for him and as a side effect the pain that we both had completely disappeared since it got rid of all inflammation, and as a bonus we both lost huge amounts of weight. But I am waffling. What I was wondering, was why you and your husband decided to go gluten free. Perhaps you mentioned it on another vlog, but if so I missed it. It's funny, but I liked the taste of gluten free things better than regular wheat based foods.
Keto for me is weight-loss and less brain fog. I'm very fortunate that I don't think have any medical reason. We had a glorious 2 weeks of all the sugar and flour and now it has come to an end and reality is stepping in 🫣
Nancy, did you cook the lemon curd in the microwave? I got distracted and may have missed a step- shiny object shiny object! 🥴Fewer stickers-go for the one you like best. I have to tell you that every time I hear the music you play in your vlogmas, I think, “What is Nancy up to now?”Just seems like mischievous music and makes me smile. I tried to open the “more” under the blog and it is too close to the link to your Ravelry so it opens that instead- u-tube gremlins at work. I hope your neck feels better soon. I have had a sore neck for ages, drives me crazy!
Yes...4 minutes in the microwave. 1 minute, stir and then 30 second increments. Stirring after each, so it doesn't turn into scrambled eggs 🥸 I get so many comments on that music 🤓
Thanks for making the time to film even though you aren’t 100%. Skip the fingering sticker. To the pure all things are pure - but to others it isn’t - and is a bit tacky. ☹️

Thanks for that little tid bit Margaret ❣️ I love the addition of the Chex and sometimes bugles as well.🤓
So pleased you enjoyed the Fat Head Pizza dough that I posted (unless anyone else alerted you to it of course). Winner winner, chicken dinner!
It was your recommendation Liz! We will definitely be playing more with it in the new year 💕
@ So pleased. I really should get back to it more in the NY as well. I also made pasties with it too.

Put the stickers UNDER the case, it’s transparent isn’t it? Don’t peel the backs off ☺️
Next case i get will be clear and then I will be able to do this 🤓
FYI be sure to read the ointment label before applying heat.
Thank you❣️ I did and it brought me some lovely relief. I'm back to normal now...thankfully 💕

@knitsiphappy lol. We did the same thing and are regretting it, but it was fun for a while. We are human after all.
Turn the fingering sticker sideways , and place it on the top ?! Then the other 2 may fit better ?
I just trimmed a couple of stars off the yarn wizard one and I love it 🧶
Any with knitting and 🍷
😆😆
