I love all your bags!! I thought I had all the patterns, now I know I need this. I think we were asking you about this pattern at the last Houston Quilt show. Glad I waited!!
Wow! This pattern covers everything needed for a great sewing bag! I made a ruler bag from another pattern and while it protects my rulers and mat, it is difficult to carry and does not expand to hold my other sewing items. It looks like this one will take some time to make, but should be well worth the effort....once we finally can get out and about again!
Hello, I have a cutting mat which is 36 1/2" by 24 1/2" approx. I saw that the large "Tools of the Trade" fits an 18" x 24" mat? Can the pattern be adjusted to fit my mat? I guess so but how? What needs to be modified? All pieces or just part of them?
If I would like to order the patterns. Is is possible to download because I’m in Australia and the postage is to much. I just love these bags. I’m in love with it 😘
I would love to purchase this pattern. I stay in Maryland, and I am flying out on March 21st. Etsy delivery is only between 17th to 23rd and I do not wish to take a chance. Is there any way I can be assured delivery latest by 20th latest.
You could try ordering through our website at ByAnnie.com instead of through Etsy. However, we are experiencing shipping delays due to health and logistical problems.
I haven't tried it yet but my experience with ByAnnie patterns in general is that they are not overly complicated, the instructions are really good, the online videos for various techniques are done really, really well and the add-on videos help a lot and show things in very good detail from the sewer's point of view so you know how things should look as you do them. If you're a total beginner perhaps try one of the free patterns first that just make small things so you get a bit of experience with the way ByAnnie patterns and techniques work. Do I have any affiliation? Not a scrap - I'm just a very satisfied customer who really thinks ByAnnie products and patterns and videos are excellent. Watch some of the free how to videos on their web site (if you haven't yet) and just practice some of those technique with any old scraps of fabric (even old sheets and pillowcases will work for "free" fabric you don't fret about messing up since it's only going to be cleaning rags and polishing cloths anyway)! That should give you a pretty good idea quite quickly how easy you'll find this pattern because you can see all the elements/techniques in Tools of the Trade like working with mesh, zippers etc.
Annie, your patterns are the best. Always spot on for what we need and always makes us look like professional sewists! Thank you! 💕

@@meganmills6545 Thanks so much for your kind words. You hit it just right!
Hi, Mary. This is actually a pretty easy bag to make. I was surprised at how easily it went together -- and the Add-on Videos are really helpful.
