It’s honestly baffling to me how EA only recently has started collaborating and hiring Sims modders. They’ve been single-handedly carrying the Sims community, and giving us content for free for years.
They give us content for free because CC creators have no overhead to account for. They don't have employees working for them nor do they need paid. They'd like money for what they do as a hobby, but don't require it. That's why most creators use patreon and release things "early" on there. CC creators have been carrying the Sims community ever since the first one started.. Because of it there's no need to hire people. It's the same thing as say Minecraft where they provide the "base" and then people provide everything else with mods to change the game however they desire. That's what EA does.. they provide us a base the majority will like to then expand upon however we want.

Well if modders would not exist, then I would be happy with my illegal version of sims. I bought sims 4 base game (that was on sale lol) just because of mods
I play on Xbox sadly so I can’t use any sort of cc but the sims 4 is still my favorite game

I once thought I did. And yes, I once was 'jealous' of not having cc access. But I see now that I really don't need all that extra 'shit' in my game to have fun with my Sims....I just don't. And I dint care if you believe it or not. And if I was desperate enough to 'need' it all? I could easily skip my happy ass down to Bestbuy and purchase a gaming laptop to instantly have access to it. But I choose to play on console and challenge myself with what I can get in my game. So yeah, you keep your little pre-made mods and cc.. I'm good with my 'shit' too.

Whenever your sim interacts with the thing and makes a drink they get a moodlet saying ‘ugh, making coffee. Drink it is better’

the blackboard wallpaper got me thinking, i would absolutely love it if a cc creator made a blackboard item or wallpaper that actually functions as an easel so your sims can draw on it

Facts!
She always puts herself down when comparing to other simmers, but I like lilsimsie because her style of sim play is more accessible to everyday sims players. That's what makes her an awesome sims youtuber.
Yeah the thing I like about how she plays and builds is it's stuff you'd actually use in typical gameplay and her builds aren't massively out of place. There are very talented people that can make amazing lots, but if you use one then you feel the need to redo every single other lot with similar just so you don't feel out of place. Especially when you get lots where people used the TOOL mod, terrain tools, etc.. the rest of the game won't match it whatsoever.
Tbh it would be really smart for EA to partner with a place like Starbucks or McDonalds on a pack, that could actually turn out really cool as CC creators have shown us
This! The designer one wasn't that impressive, but a Starbucks one? Could definitely be a life changer. Especially if they add new drinks, new personality traits, functional aprons, new recipes, a collector aspiration, etc, etc. People who drink Starbucks literally have an entire stereotype made about them...EA could take that, and make it a personality trait or something.

I was just building with Harrie's Spoons and I'm so pumped to mix and match this one with it! I also never really build commercial lots but it looks like that might really change!
I never build commercial lots and that's honestly just because I never use them.. Seriously the only time I go to a gym or bar is when I'm just starting on a rags to riches and need like free food, shower, maybe toilet/sink, etc. If Sims 4 would have the open world Sims 3 had I'd be using community lots *constantly*...
@@Eventide215 They could've solved the closed world issue another way - when you go out with one of your sims and the rest stay home, you would play with the sim you took out, then when you go back home you'll go back to the point in time you left and be able to play with the sims that stayed home until the other sim came home and then the timelines would 'merge'. That way you wouldn't lose all that time and the sims left at home won't sabotage themselves [one time I went out with one sim while the other was asleep, and when I came back the sim that was supposed to sleep was up playing video games so they were exhausted when they had to go to work and didn't get a promotion. So annoying]. I wish there was a mod for that
@@limiv5272 What you're suggesting is extremely complicated.. You literally want there to be 2 timelines whenever you go out to another lot.. That'll never happen. They could have "solved the closed world issue" by just actually advancing from Sims 3 instead of taking us back to like Sims 1..

I used to work for Starbucks. And the accuracy on the content he made is absolutely insane. Like it looks exactly how it is, even the sauce containers and syrups, the customized espresso bars are also perfect. 11/10 for this content, everyone who worked on it did amazing.
now i wanna go to starbucks, grab an overpriced coffee, bring my laptop and make my sims do the same. goals.

It is so mind blowing to see the evolution of custom content over time. I truly think the quality of CC items are reaching an all time high, especially with creators like Little Dica and Hey Harrie in the game. Not only do these items look great, but they look like they belong in the game.

Girl, stop. You don't need cc content. Just upload from the gallery. That's where I get all my bomb homes, nightclubs, AND STARBUCKS. I got a McDonald's, an In n Out, all kinds of wall decor, paintings, detailed bits and bobbles...all that. AND I play on console. So, it IS doable to have custom content in your game. Just be careful and not download everything you see. Could corrupt your system. Never happen to me though. Don't ever be jealous of pc players. Find a way to enjoy your game like I did. Since having the gallery, my game is bomb!!

Content creators are true gifts - cc creators, artists, fanfic writers, you name it. They do this stuff for FREE because they love the content and want to spread it to others - again for free!
(You can pay them through Patreon and commissions but those that can't don't HAVE to and that's important.)
I can't even put this much detail into my final projects, let alone builds, and they did that PLUS all of the items that go in it. Astounding 🙏

i think you should include mods in your builds at least sometimes because it would give more interesting things and you could branch out with your builds much more, all the mods you reviewed should be included sometimes

The espresso machine design is super similar to the Mastrena 1’s, except Starbucks machines haven’t been manual for…many years haha

Why do they think of all those little details? Well, it’s because they all played Sims 3 and miss the total customization we had with the color wheel. I mean, who doesn’t miss it, right? And I’m still waiting for horses to return!!!
I just wanna say I work at Starbucks and even the espresso machines color and everything look EXACTLY like the ones my store has, this build actually looks like my Starbucks store minus maybe the stage and the upstairs

2. Please make a school! Classrooms, gym, library, computer lab, art room, music room, cafeteria. Playground! Please make one!!

I think that the CC pack coming with a lot is absolutely amazing. It's really nice to get inspiration from seeing how they would use their own stuff in a build. I wish all CC packs did this actually.

I have this set and I LOVE IT. Built an industrial loft and the columns and stairs and fences and railing all look sooooo gooood.
I livre the way lilsimsie always exange colors like greens are blue , pinks are purple and purples are blue, ia Just unique.
