You are hardly giving the MC20 any real throttle - if you'd actually drive it hard, you'd see how amazingly sporty and responsive it is. You're just to gentle. In Australia, they retail for $570K and if i had the spare cash, I'd buy one over any other super car in that range, even a McLaren. Thi is truly a beautiful super car.
I own one of these and I absolutely love it! I think its misunderstood by most because of the V6 but trust me it’s super quick. It’s drop dead gorgeous! There’s only 3 things I hate about it. 1- The factory exhaust is way too quiet. 2- the sound system is way too quiet, if I’m not getting cool engine sounds then I should at least get an amazing sound system to keep my ears entertained. 3- brakes need additional pedal pressure to engage, you get used to it but why??? I prefer to drive the MC20 over my McLaren 720s.
I'm looking into the mc20... are they decent daily driver type? I am also looking at the McLaren GT. I like supercars, but with more classy style that isn't overly obnoxious looking.
I'm commenting before watching the video. All I saw was the headline. Speaking out loud to myself, I replied, "Yes, please." One of my dream cars, tunned by a dream tuner. Nope, it doesn't get better
I think this Maserati is "misunderstood". People expect it to sound like a Ferrari. But also, V6s just don't belong in supercars. People purposely want to achieve great amount of wealth in their lives to experience things that are limited. And when it comes to supercars, the last thing these people want is a V6. They should have a V8 at the very least. Imagine this with a 458 engine, or 488/F8 engine...
I’m a HUGE Maserati fan! I absolutely love mine and this is stunning but WHY FOR THE LOVE OF GOD would they not put the engine from the 2014+ Gran Tourismo in this car. It would’ve been EPIC. (Oh well, I’ll catch one for about $90K next year and see what mods will be available)
Finally you guys made an exhaust and Carbon parts for it because if you looking to buy an MC20 these are highly discounted now. That Novitech exhaust will make this MC20 worth getting especially under retail 🤓
please do a vid on a maserati MC stradale with a full novitec exhaust. i wonder how that sound stacks up against some of the other great novitec sounding cars. i think that na V8 is one of the greatest sounding engines
...1/2 the price of a 296GTS on the used market, I'll live with those foibles. In time, an aftermarket tuner is bound to be able to work out the issues. Novitec wheels and exhaust, add 7Design carbon fiber bits, and YES! Winner!
I have one in grigio misterio( silver) with gold accents like this one. Ive also fitted the Novitec carbon bits and Capristo gold tail pipes. Sounds great and looks even better! As far as this vs Ferrari or other's? I like Maserati more because there less of them around town. 😊
How can something with over 700 HP be so underwhelming? I have seen several reviews of this car saying the same thing about the standard version. Such a shame for a car that looks this good.
What’s so hard about making a loud, pagani sounding exhaust? I know there’s a lot to it, but anyway for there to be flexibility in manipulating the sound? Thanks ahead.
cielo can mean heaven but it literally translate to sky, is it cielo because in italian we use cielo even for the inner roof of the car wich she does not have
I feel like even with the aftermarket exhaust the car lacks drama, meaning a slap behind your head everytime you upshift like a lambo or ferrari, like it’s too linear like an electric car or few mclarens out there… Even a c8 corvette is more dramatic in my opinion.
This car for me is in the same category of "what ifs" and "if that wasnt the case, then it would be". Just like a Aston Martin DBS, if the interior was not as dull it wouldve been the most beautiful mordern front engine Grand Tourer #MyOpinion If the Mc20 had a V8, despite the price tag and the meh interior, OMG 😲
Ya this car is beautiful, and I love it but its rear end is so generic. I love the car very much but I’m just being honest, I imagine the tail lamps be round like a La Ferrari, or the F50 or the 458 Italia or even the F8 Tributo have gorgeous modern round tail lamps (I hate ferrari got rid of those) and those would look amazing on MC20
Going by the weight, over 1700kg, you’d think it had a V8. At €350,000 it seems well overpriced to me. Think I’d take an Artura in Volcano Red instead.
Ive had polished gold rims on all my modified cars since a teen and never grew out of it. Gold rims make the car look incredible both while moving and when parked, great choice🤝
I have 3 Maserati cars and all the bad reviews are by people who never owned or driven a Maserati for 1 day. If you drive for more than 3 days , you will keep the car
Personally, I feel the design of the MC20 is incongruous (curves offset too far by industrial/box like shapes - the side-skirts don't match for example) and the sound of the V6 is monotone. The 296s V6 is infinitely more soulful. There is a lot of substance to the MC20, just lacks that star ✨ quality even with the impressive Novitec enhancements.
I believe that grey with gold are not the best color combination that exists, I would put a royal green wrap on it, I think it's the only color that goes well with gold.
A rather biased review. The usual stupid comments about "quality" - even though many have praised it; The comment that gets on my nerves the most was "I'm not sure if I can trust it". Ma vafanbocc! To all those who complain about the V6, you should direct your disappointments to the European Union, and Ursula von Der Leyen in particular: she came up with the 'green deal'. Without the bureaucratic restrictions, the MC20 would likely have been fitted with a V8 or bigger.
It's just an amazing work of art, speed, engineering, and just pure fun. The Maserati is at the top with car enthusiasts and collectors alike. Please, sign me up FOR this super car. And at €350,000.00 euro. ♡♤◇♧ I say get the rubbers' right guy. And a sound system from hell would be nice. Well, take some of the onboard computer programs on Lexus, and you will have a hit run.
The twinturbo downsize generation was horrible and is luckily OVER! These cars sound horrible no matter what the exhaust. Build quality comes on top of that
The flaws of the MC20 can be forgiven thanks to its beautiful design and exhaust note. I can never understand why people choose clay color for their sportscars?? What is sexy about clay color??
expensive superficial looks over lasting quality substance .. sounds like the modern day paradox .. used to say to my grandpa it's "modern" times, but he'd rebut by saying it's "modder" times ..
one of the most powerful v6s in the world, a carbon monocoque and one of the most beautiful lines currently on the market. the price is more then correct and the car far from being of poor quality
Get the bratwurst out of here. I test drove both, this and the Artura spider, and the MC20 feels way more of a quality super car, and more exciting. The suspension is brilliant for an everyday driver, even in Sport, and the looks are out of this world. The Artura wouldn't even stop, thanks to its "racing" carbon ceramic brakes. Don't compare cars that are US$ 100-200K apart btw 😂 That's how much more a 296 would cost at a minimum.
Absolutely drop dead gorgeous 😍

Those problems you have can be rectified although I get it you’ve spent a lot on the car already but when they are done it’s perfection .
What about the small fuel tank and the huge thirst for super unleaded?
I'm looking into the mc20... are they decent daily driver type?
I am also looking at the McLaren GT.
I like supercars, but with more classy style that isn't overly obnoxious looking.
The brake feel is to mimic F1 cars,

Don’t know they didn’t put the trofeo engine in this
Thank you...not enough people saying this. Maserati should pay attention
They should have at least put an electric motor in it. Like every other brand is doing. Could have been a 1K HP speed demon.
The. Nettuno V6 IS the New Trofeo. Better than the previous V8 Trofeo. @@vicunaleather6992
Never would have thought chalk and gold would work so well together
I feel if Maserati had put a V8 in this car it would have been more fun.

Interesting choice of gold. Contrasting with the intrinsic depreciation nature of the car.
👍 those wheels and perfect ride height totally make the whole car. That’s the way the car should come from Maserati.
This thing has looks, drop dead gorgeous, but absolutely nothing else to offer
That's the truth.
please do a vid on a maserati MC stradale with a full novitec exhaust. i wonder how that sound stacks up against some of the other great novitec sounding cars. i think that na V8 is one of the greatest sounding engines
Mega-Gorgeous! Can't Wait For Someone To Ferrari V12 Swap One!!!
Beautiful machine
Fantastic super car design Maserati Is coooooool❤❤❤❤❤
cant wait for the novitec revuelto
How you made it look stock is insane
you guys should make another video on the 296
Vera classe🇮🇹 siamo sempre i numeri 1
Maserati cars are the BEST
...1/2 the price of a 296GTS on the used market, I'll live with those foibles. In time, an aftermarket tuner is bound to be able to work out the issues. Novitec wheels and exhaust, add 7Design carbon fiber bits, and YES! Winner!
Looks like hyper car league 👌🏻
Did they film the matrix in that room?
I have one in grigio misterio( silver) with gold accents like this one. Ive also fitted the Novitec carbon bits and Capristo gold tail pipes. Sounds great and looks even better! As far as this vs Ferrari or other's? I like Maserati more because there less of them around town. 😊
you don’t buy the Maserati to perform, you buy a Maserati to maserati. It is a lifestyle.
Drive it harder...you will LOVE IT. I drive a Maserati and they were made to be driven hard.
love the spec but missing Maserati original V8 sound so much
Those badges and decals are gettin jacked in San Francisco
Oakland lol
One day Novitec will offer V8 engine upgrades 🙏
Does it actually rev over 4000?
Putting a V6 in a car of that stature, is like slapping God around the face..
Should be a potent V8
How can something with over 700 HP be so underwhelming? I have seen several reviews of this car saying the same thing about the standard version. Such a shame for a car that looks this good.
so beautifullllllllllllll
Rwd right?
Is there an exhaust on the car?
I see you upgraded to Michelins from the stock Potenzas... 😉
What’s so hard about making a loud, pagani sounding exhaust? I know there’s a lot to it, but anyway for there to be flexibility in manipulating the sound? Thanks ahead.

If I spent the extra money on that there gold plated exhaust I'd be pretty upset that I couldn't look at it easily and regularly regularly 😢😢😢
The problem lies with the V6. Nice and nothing behind it.
สวย งาม ค่ะ

you can have it new for 220k these days
so okay you can have the Roma for this , but the 296 will cost you 100k more
😊😊
Most people willing to spend that kind of money will want a V8.
Yep

Purple wheels instead of gold. That's it!
I have 3 Maserati cars and all the bad reviews are by people who never owned or driven a Maserati for 1 day. If you drive for more than 3 days , you will keep the car

The only thing this car has going for it is the looks. Which still are not the best in it's class in my subjective opinion.
デザインは好きだけど昔のマラネロ製エンジンのマセラティの方が好きだな
If you close your eyes than you think its a bmw m3/m4 driving arround haha not a supercar sound and that 350k. Not for me
That’s what happens with these engines

It's just too expensive for the car, 280 would have been more reasonable and they would have to fix their standard exhaust.
🗣️ it’s still a v6
Yeah, the insides of these things feel notoriously cheap, like off the street cheap

Meh, it feels like the new DeTamaso Pantera. It looks tacky.
This car will cost around 100K in 5 years cause nobody wants it.
Bingo!
Rimm are the best .... the gold rims on a mettalic electric blue car ....
I"ll sell my 992 gts in 2 years for this at 50% off msrp
I wonder if the design alone will help this maserati hold value. Its a stunning car but the engine is weak. This thing is slower then a m4 comp xdrive
NOT ENOUGH FOCUS ON THE INTERIOR
Needs a v8
