Liking Harry Styles is the most common thing to do today, I don't see why would anybody be ashamed if he's literally the most in vogue artists nowadays. It was brave to say that when he was in 1D (I got a lot of people laugh at me and now they all listen to him lol) but not anymore.

Honestly I think its just corny to change lyrics period. It either makes you seem like you're insecure or don't respect the material 99% of the time. It's like reading a book aloud and changing pronouns basked on you being a different person. It's a story, tell that story ya feelz

Maxwell Minnis and i completely agree. i’m just really appalled recently at people trashing men for anything they do if it’s not feminine, and then claim it’s toxic masculinity. (this is by internet standards). idk, it’s my opinion but i see it a lot - i don’t think it should be changed either but if a guy doesn’t wants to switch it up like Will Singe for example, he shouldn’t feel complied to. he’s got that sexy- rnb voice and a sex appeal that accompanies his name which would seem out of place considering he makes covers like his own songs. i think in those situations it’s perfectly fine.

Dana Cooley-Keith I’d imagine so. He sounded good but a little tense throughout the whole live lounge and when you heard him talk in behind the scenes clips he did sound a bit rough
he had a cold yeah he was coughing and stuff even, you can see that in other performances and while talking on the radio the same day he also coughed so he did real good :D

Interesting on the accent.He has lost a lot of his very noticeable regional English accent- and has become more flat- or American- tone in his speaking voice.He has always sung with an Americanish accent- especially on his own 2 albums.He is definitely growing as an artist.
BTW he is spokesmodel for Gucci and he wears mostly Gucci clothes while performing right now.The big pants are part of that.He is starting to wear more jewelry and express himself.There is no doubt that he is a captivating performer and he has a lot of charisma.He is one cool dude for sure!!!

@@Curlyl0x I interesting comment.I lived in England for many years and I could definitely hear a much more pronounced Cheshire dialect/accent in the past in his speaking voice.He does sound different now though.More American but not totally.

Harry is the very definition of cool and most importantly, *kind.* He's beautifully androgynous ,,, naturally. I agree, it's not a put-on thing. He is, to me, a very modern young man ... with some lovely vintage taste in music. Very appealing, the entire package.

I like that all the One Direction gentlemen have enough music cred that they are all able to explore & evolve as artists. All that hard work in the band really has afforded them freedom that most young artists don't/won't have for years. Harry's voice is a treat.

They document everything he’s wearing and it’s not cringy at all and honestly, even if you’re not a Harry fan, the fashion aspect is just extremely fascinating. Sam will probably be disappointed when he realises that the trousers are custom Gucci though!

When I listen to you analyse a song like this, I always wonder if these vowel placements, jaw movements and etc are informed, conscious choices by the artist or whether these are the instinctive choices of a good talented singer? Or is it a little bit of both? I have never had any training and I just sing as I think things sound best (not a marvellous singer btw, I just enjoy it). I never really think consciously about what I do. But that might be different for people who actually have had training ...
Gave no fucks about Harry or One Direction until his SNL hosting and performing.
SNL bought their A-game for Harry. All skits were hella funny. Especially the White Get Out one. Classic.Up there with Justin's Dick in a Box.

His bluesy(deep tone on fleek) cover of Kanye's UltraLight Beam makes me look at his other stuff as lightweight. Wanna see him do a concept movie\album(like Purple Rain) with that vibe. It'd be epic!!!

From what I heard he had a bit of a cold, so when you mentioned the tightness perhaps that had an effect? But as you said he's had so much practice it would be hard to tell since hes been singing mainstream for a decade. I like Harry, the 1D stuff not so much but everything about his solo work, that Prince/Freddie Mercury/Bowie/Jagger vibe i'm all for it because that's what I see and what I hear. Keep up the good work Sam.

That's crazy that you talk about singing possibly changing an accent a person has. I lived in Mississippi a place with a very heavy southern accent. People would tell me why do you not sound southern. I actually spent all my free time singing emo/punk songs overly pronouncing everything. Haha.
