OMG!!! This is so amazing! So, I’m finally sick & tired of these overly long shoestrings that came with my shoes. I’m wanting to cut them & was looking for a way to seal them when I was done. I have superglue & thread. Thanks so much!!

The cheapest way includes a lighter and some skill, quickly burn the end of the lace and roll it with your finger tips. Presto.

Suggestion; a match aa plastic draw and a piece of denim; or thick cloth. Twist the end. Heat the straw til it is melted using the cloth to protectyour fingers from the hot plastic force the melted plastic into the fiber of the fraid end then twist it to a point; it will cool quickly. Nice narrow plastic ends again.

You may want some more wraps with the thread and keep the tip straight before applying the super glue. Good Luck 👍
