Dude you have no idea how excited I was this year for all of the new Pokemon cosplays!! It's like each year the number of roaming A-Kon pokymans is growing it's so great XD And thank you for finally posting all of these wonderful videos!~ I already can't wait until this upcoming A-Kon cause all I'm gonna do is chill, go to panels and photoshoots and hang out with friends~

You know, I'll be honest. I used to think A LOT about doing a fursuit, like the Arcanine, for example, but tbh, I haven't cosplayed in years.
The reason(s)? Well, they're are many.
The first (and most disappointing)reason is that I don't have the time/funds/patience to make one/buy one for myself. Going back to college (to overcome anxiety about the whole thing, long story, please don't ask) to get my diploma is stress enough.
The second reason (and, I believe, most important) is the whole cosplay hate/harassment thing.
I know what you're thinking. "It can't be that bad!", you say. When you hear things like "You do know xyz is a boy/girl right?", or "that costume is *TOTALLY* wrong", "You're too fat/thing/the wrong color/shape/size!" or just general things like that that can get on cosplayer's nerves, I hung up my Chibitalia cosplay a looong time ago.
So, I'll just stick to watching these videos and remembering a time when cosplay hate and harassment *weren't* a thing to worry about these days. Sigh.....

MysticSkullivine I have definitely been wanting to do a digimon cosplay for the longest time (thinking about MetalGreymon :3) but I'm quite certain that I won't be getting around to it this year. I have a few it's narrowed down to but gotta see how time and money works itself out in the next few months.
Mouse Small Haha, ya know Garchomp has also been on my list for a very long time (he's one of my top favorites) and I would still really like to be able to do him. Hmm, actually I have the perfect blue fabric for him already... he may have to be on my "to consider" list this year just because of that.
