Just imagine, someone probably lives in that very house, maybe not even knowing the legend that stood that kitchen, with all of his friends, having the fucking time of their lives even though they dont have much. Passing out on the floor from acid and alchohol.
@@camilloa.1680 I'm not Drone Graveyard, but in case you're interested in someone else's experience. Found Pat by getting recommended Love Songs for the Apocalypse by UA-cam. Not something I might have normally clicked knowing who I was two years ago, but I did, and his work has been a staple of my life since.
@camilloa.1680 How I found out about him- My dad was picking me up from school, in his old van- Which used to be his dads- That day, on a Wednesday afternoon, he brought my dog with him- Knew I was mad at mom that day- We got Arby's and just talked shit about people together- This was about 3 years ago- Such an awesome guy...While all this was happening, he was playing Pat the Bunny songs...Been listening ever since-!
Man...wish i woulda got to see pat play at least once. Was barely discovering the wonderful world of folk punk rihjt around the time of his retirement. And i live in arizona.. Where he moved to lol. Thank you for this. I really hope i get the chance to see and meet you someday, Chris. Your music has had such an impact on my life .

I think the dude to the left of pat at 0:40 is recreating redbear’s acid tripping hand motions from the “johnny hobo basement show” video also on youtube where hes playing this same song. Hes even standing in the same spot lol.
this makes me so fuckin happy, although i've only found out about these two hidden gems about 4months ago, i've been hooked an it inspired me to become a folk punk musician.
@GahRu Don't go to Europe. They'll ask you if you have a permit to carry your license to have a plane ticket and then they won't let you leave the continent.
Glad pat got healthy, seeing him in this state is sad, he looks bone dry, more so than any other video I've ever seen before. I know how rough addiction is, got out of rehab a few months ago myself, I don't understand heroin but Meth was my DOC

Fuck I'm so glad Pat is Sober now. He doesn't look that good in this. And I'm just saying he of people knows how awful those addictions were for him. Either would've ended in jail or coffin eventually.
Can I just say even though I just found your music Chris (and yes I know this song isn't yours) I fucking love it and I'd wait forever for either a new record or just a song. I love this stuff and I can't wait to see what you release
Daniel Foor yeah I heard about that. It's pretty sad, I started listening to his stuff recently too. He had such emotion behind him and his music. While I'm glad he's doing better I will always be sad that i won't be able to hear any new stuff from him. I think if you listen to his song From here to Utopia he was definitely hinting at leaving
Blamedaniel Gaming i found the genre and all these great artists a few months ago, just to find out many of them have quit music. im glad that chris is still i the scene and look forward to hearing more music from him
This is cool and all Chris but you know what your fans really want to see? You, playing your music, and maybe a way to buy your new and old music. Pat is cool and everything but he's gone from the scene forever. You're still around so make the most of it.
I'm struggling with a programming addiction, it's really bad, a succubus of time and assassin of relationships. Thankfully I've been clean for one week now though. Chris Burrows I never thought the guy that wrote "All my friends are drug addicts" would be so proficient in OpenGL. I know how it is though. I've been addicted to php for a few years now.
I think this is actually the best recorded version of this song out there lol.
