I remember winning the bet on this race. What an awesomely beautiful horse! Bailey is terrific! It was such fun in Saratoga during this time, unfortunately due to many changes it just hasn't been the same.
This was Repent's first race off a layoff from an injury sustained in the IL Derby in April, what an amazing effort! If the race had been just a little longer, he would have had it. He came so close to beating a very good horse in Medaglia D'oro. If only he would have stayed sound, he could have been a contender for 3yo champ.

One of my favorites! All class horse that had massive talent. Huge pony too! He was so big in his racing days

I agree about Repent..great closer...liked him ever sice he got second at 55-1 as a 2 year old in the breeders cup, i think it was to Johannesberg
