@@MJB516 You're welcome. I'm looking at buckets right now; I have a JD x595. True shame the JD 45 loader has become a thing of the past. Just read a blog, apparently CTC doesn't do a very good job in backing their product. True not true; I don't know? So, being the type craftsman you are; I value the fact you purchased a Buford. Did you make them aware of the plating you created & used on their loader? If not you should! Nice touch. Anyway, apparently the Buford hook is NOT just mounted on the top of the loader, but continues underneath as well. The two pistons are x-large too. I'm going to use a bucket for yard work; trees, logs, cowpost etc. My compost pile seems to be getting bigger each year. So, when dumping, I really need to be able to get near the top. Does Buford have any plans on extending the reach? I saw a few pics tonight where it shows the Buford loader resting on the bed of a pick up truck. I assume that's to show how high it goes? In the blog, it was mentioned CTC used pins & Buford uses bolts. The author didn't see it as a big deal.
@@brendanperry6429 the buford only goes about 4 and a half feet High. That's High enough for me.. I also head bad like you did on the CTC loader. The guy who makes the buford bucket lives in Kentucky. His brother has a x595 with a buford bucket. His channel is "got deers". Check him out.
I love my BB. Mounted on a 332. Leveled a good section with 30 yards. Wont go as high but never had more in it than it would lift. Would love to see a video of you mounting that bucket showing how that quick hitch set up works. Thanks!

I’m still trying to get a Buford bucket. Would you please do a video of installing, connecting and using the bucket. I would to see how the plates you added facilitate the installation of the bolts.
Is the Buford bucket still being made? Is the frame on the x758 strong enough to handle this? I heard they stopped making the 45 leader because they reduced the frame size on the newer x758’s
@@jamesmabry2261 I just talked to Pete an hour ago. I have not been successful trying to get a hold of him either. He just informed me that his wife has been in the hospital for three weeks. And she just died. Keep on trying and sooner or later he'll respond I'm sure.
@@MJB516 well Pete emailed me and he is not taking any orders right now for the Buford bucket. I wanted to ask you.....does adding an aftermarket attachment like the Buford bucket void the Deere warranty since it is not an “authorized “ Deere attachment? Since they don’t make the 45 loader anymore I wasn’t sure about warranty
@@jamesmabry2261 I have no idea if it does void warranty. But I'm not worried about it one little bit. Check with CTC. They make a loader even better than the one Deere stopped making.

All great ideas! Wow, jealous of your set up. The other brand loader runs $1900, Buford bucket seems much beefier, larger cylinders.

Where did you get the loader from. I’m trying to get one for my x740
