First time watcher. I think for what you were trying to do it worked well. I was/am a Deere fan and about 3 years ago I bought a 1984 John Deerw 430 Diesel. I don't think they would have quit making that tractor if there was a 4 wheel drive option. I spent a year and a lot of money scavenging parts and restored it back to original. I wanted to put a FEL on the tractor but never found one that was worth restoring and the little buck aftermarket FEL didn't meet the standards I had put into the tractor. I used it to pull a lot of trees out of a fence line that I cleaned out with a boom I built and tongs. The 430 was dragging 10 12" whole unlimmed trees off the stump and 600' up to my wood pile and burn pit. It pushed snow like crazy and I built my version of a shovel bucket with a 54" plow. I moved 50 or 60 yards of fill dirt with it easily. I just never found a tiller of loader and that's what I bought it for. I looked at a new 1025 and almost pulled the trigger, but I kept researching. I ended up buying a South Korean non box store all cast, no aluminum 25 HP 4x4 with a loader and a 60" tiller for right at $5k less than the 1025. I sold my 430 for $5200 losing about $800 overall if you don't count the work I did do with the 430. Deere is going to have to come down in price and end he feud/lawsuit with the UAW and farmers and give them "right to repair" or they may not make it given the recession. I still love the little ones but if I ever bought another it would be to part out. The parts and implements are like gold on them I learned. You did your neighbors and yourself a great service!
Thanks for watching! Hopefully there is more on my channel for now! I agree, Deere stuff is expensive, but it is one of those thing I think people will pay for nomatter what... I one day too hope to have an older 400 like you! Hard to find that stuff in Alaska, I was luck to find a 210 here...
Hello Josh I have a x575 and I hang 4 of the weights on the box blade once I get things broken up I remove them I own a 2305 a 1025 but love the x575 more been waiting patiently for you to put your x to work love watching take care
How well do those carlises grip and hook up? Would you get them again or go with another tire? I have an X748 with HDAP's but I love the look of the V treads.
Well I haven’t been stuck yet, and they have no problem dragging the BB2048L fully loaded with gravel. I love em and would absolutely buy them again… in fact, I did for my 210 haha! I’m a big fan of Carlisle and would buy them any day of the week for “specialty” tires.
Nice seeing you put the X758 to work! 🤓👍
Tractor, box blade, driveway repair... Love it! Liked, Shared, Subscribed!!

Curious, do you hae a special bracket on teh front for the suitcase weights?
Nope, the Frame holds 4 weights by itself
