- Amsterdam is a wonderful city with many secrets. I moved here a year ago and I wanted to show you all the things that took me a while to get used to. Just because I find them unusual does not mean that I don't like them!

This is great - thank you. My husband and I have been and will return again in Nov. This is new info - useful info you can’t get in a regular tourist vids. We are looking for a more local experience.
You don't have to pay twice if you opened the empty vending machine. Just say it to the staff and you get one from them without extra charge 😜
it was a great video! And thanks to you, if I ever go to Amsterdam, I will go to the cafe, not the coffee shop!😂
Looking forward to more videos like this in the future!!
Thank you! 😃
Nice video! But one thing: actually there is no biking "culture" in Amsterdam. Just like there is no breathing culture... People just breathe.. In the same way Amsterdammers just bike, without even thinking about it or seeing it as something special...
Weed is NOT legal in Amsterdam or in the rest of the Netherlands. The sale is (in Dutch) "gedoogd ". That concept is almost untranslatable ("tolerated under strict rules" comes close) but is absolutely essential to the Dutch culture.
And most Dutch people eat their dinner at 18.00 hours. At least at home.
I have lived in Amsterdam forEver...I don't bike. I hate that.
Why?
