Cool !!! Thanks for uploading !!!
Did you know that those records were originally not really played on this kind of gramophone. Plenty of "electric-players" already around in 1946 !!! Some already with quite "lightweight" cartridges. Well ... "lightweight" ... lol

I am aware that there were electrically amplified record players, starting in the early 1930s. The crank versions still work fine, though. I'm pretty sure the one in this video was made sometime in the 1940s. I did collect one combo radio and record player unit, but it needs tubes, or something, and it only makes horrible loud humming sounds when you plug it in!

@@allanalogmusicat78rpm aha ... I know the problem. (is my hobby to repair those "oldies" )
Don't blame the tubes directly if they are still on the chassis ... Probably needs a "recap" ... Humming is pointing towards a leaky "mains-capacitor" ...
Be aware that those old ceramic cartridges and magnetic cartridges need work also.
Especially the ceramic once are dying due to humidity.
The magnetic once can be opened to control the rubbers surrounding the "needle-holder" .
Lots of nice vids to find here on You-tube about those problems. Some are OK ... some are GOOD !!!
